first 2010 smallie
I still haven't gotten on my first one of the year. It's supposed to be 70 degrees here Saturday, so I'm really hopping this is the weekend!

Jerkbaits for cold, clear water smallies?
Another vote for the X-Raps. Look for the smaller sizes. Color is completely your preference in what you need.

Favorite set-up for smallmouth
The one I typically go with for smallmouth is my normal soft plastics setup. Shimano Sahara 3000 All Star G-40x 6'6" Medium 6# P-Line Floroclear

Topwater and Frog Setup.
As the baitmonkey continues to jump on me, I find myself looking for a new topwater and frog setup. Are any of you using the same setup for both frogs and topwater applications? If so, what are your specific setups? I am unsure if I should be trying to find one setup for both of these applications or not.

Lipless Crank Rig
This is also Tn's Year O' The Crank.

light tackle?
I go to it when I'm not catching anything on larger stuff. I also fish and wade a lot of creeks and small rivers. I almost always use and UL setup doing this.

Fishing around Oxford, MS
Sorry to take away from your question, but does Ole Miss have a bass team?

how to do you orginize your plastics
I never can seem to get a system that works well for me. I'm still looking for a good one. I have tried using different boxes to keep them all in, but that makes for too many boxes. Currently they are all in their bags or in zip-locs thrown into my tackle bag.

Kinami cut tail worms
I typically just T-Rig them. And nice fish JFranco!
-
Frog Hooks
Typically only use one. For a normal size from like the Rage Tail I use a 5/0 hook.
-
For those that write the depth on your crankbaits
This might work, seeing as it's about all I'm catching these days.

H20 XPRESS baits...Any good?
As far as I have been able to tell, they are just an Academy Sports line. If I'm not mistaken, I don't believe Academy takes online orders. So your best bet would be to get someone on here to send you some. I would say that I would do it, but I don't want to take away from others that have already done this for many different people.

So whats the hype with the color"Sexy Shad?"
Why this may be a top producing color in many different situations, I feel that using different colors at the appropriate time really makes the difference. I also am not sure that I fully understand the thought behind the Sexy Shad colored spinners.

Here is a golden opportunity for all the young folks looking for fishing money!
Can't believe this was posted. I know a kid that is going there on a fishing scholarship next year.

The Strike, The Hook Set, or the Fight?
No matter the fish, whether it be a 5lb Largemouth or 8 ounce Bluegill, I get a little adrenaline rush every single time I feel a strike. Probably the reason why I miss so many hooksets though.

Alley's Wholesale Tungsten
Sorry to take away from this thread with another question, but how do you typically determine what size weight to use? I have a few different sizes that I like to use, but I always have a hard time deciding on which.

Are you stocking up your box this winter?
Any time you want to send some of those crankbaits my way, feel free. Yes I have. I've gotten probably ten new bags of plastics, various crankbaits, jigs, hooks, weights. I bought two new rods and reels right after Christmas. I can't even walk into Wal-Mart without buying some hooks and weights.

Crainkbaits
I like Bomber's, personally.

A bait you hate to use
I'm with you on this one.
-
berkley powerbait powerworm 7 in and 10 in
Personally, I've gotten good results with the 10 inch in Motor Oil, but I haven't tried many other colors since these have produced for me.

Show Us Some Tackle!
x2. I've acquired wayyyyyy too many soft plastics over the past year.

McDonalds an Olympic sponsor? a little ironic, don't ya think
I thought the same thing when I saw the logo on a cup. Then again, it probably explains why I am sitting around drinking a large sweet tea and not in the Olympics.

Building my Tackle Box
http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137 Check that out. Also, look through this thread and you should be able to find some great information. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?virboard=Fishing_Tackle_ID;num=1253486034 Be sure to keep stock on the little things (hooks, weights, line, etc.)

Polarized Sunglasses
What did this test entail? Because it certainly didn't include actually trying on the Sunglasses themselves.

What color do you use for...
X2. Or occasionally I will try and put on a trailer in a color that had some type of flashy flake. Especially in muddy water.
