It was 74 degrees out today! I was able to get out to the river for an hour or so.

I have a pair of ambers. Which I really like. But as stated before, if you are willing to spend the money get green mirror.

Any word on when the spartanburg store will have the bluegill and shellcracker cranks? I've been everyday for the last week with no luck finding em. If the store here is any indication, they didn't have much on the shelf when I went Friday. They had some carts with boxes in them, which I assumed was merchandise they were going to put out.

I saw that last night. I picked up another pack of finesse worms.

This happened to me last year when some water got into one of my boxes without me noticing. I just tossed them and replaced. Luckily it was just terminal tackle, so I only had to replace various hooks and weights. So no big loss. That is probably your safest bet.

Personally, I have never had any trouble with line twist like others do. So I never use a swivel. The main color I use when fishing for creek smallies is the classic silver with white tail. I might go with the Chartruese depending on water clarity.

Today I was throwing one of H2o's topwater lures. (TWS) I came across a problem a few times of it seeming to run on it's side. Has anyone else experienced this, or is it just me?

He got me again tonight when I bought 4 new crankbaits and of course I just had to have some more Zoom worms.

Whether they go together or not, it is still a great deal. Just put the reel on another rod.

I guess I'm going to find out. I bought a couple of H2O's cranks tonight in their Sexy Shad color when I went to Academy.

I was 7 or 8 years old. I was fishing off of a dock early one morning with my dad. I took my rod back and somehow when I came forward to make the cast caught myself in the back of the head. I spent the rest of the morning in the ER waiting on a maintenance man to bring the doctor a pair of wire cutters.

I got a kick out of him trash talking his grandson the whole time.

What exactly defines a tight or wide wobble?

I think we can all agree that the baitmonkey has it's hand on our wallet at all times.

Academy definitely got it's fair share of dough from me last year. I don't see it being any different this year.

Personally, I don't do much fishing outside of bass. Therefore, I like to see magazines solely based on bass.

Aren't these a newer bait to come on the market? Or am I mistaken?

I have it spooled on my Sahara, which I mainly use for soft plastics, and I have no complaints. It has just about become my favorite floro.

Typically 1/8 and 1/4. I might go heavier or lighter on occasion depending on the current.

I don't remember ever reading Outdoor Life. But Field and Stream is good for an article or two every issue. I personally like Bassin' magazine if you can find it.
