  1. Jellyman, you had better take that jig off that swivel. Goodluck..
  2. Hahahahaha this is hilarious.
  3. I'd love to. Sounds like aplan to me.
  4. DOIN WORK. That's awesome Aaron. Very nice pics. I need to get out soon.
  5. It's from the trolling motor. If you think about it, holding your foot 5-6 inches off the ground all the time makes your back in a funny position. It kind of tweaks it. That is why guys love the recessed tray.
  6. This couldn't be more true. I fished a jig for 4 months with only a few fish here and there, and one day, I got a good one and ever since that it's been non stop. I honestly cannot put the thing down.
  7. Wow, very nice fish!
  8. Alright man, I'll help you sunday.
  9. I wish I was but I have to work 9-5. Ace is getting out there hopefully.
  10. Yeah, I'm going to go to NOVA, atleast try it. If that doesn't work out then I'm just going to work. Of course I'm making an appearance this sunday dude!! I'm leaving for beachweek right after ;D
  11. Hahaha I'll be tagin ALONG!!!! Thanks man, it's gonna be a blast.
  12. Awesome report Aaron, starting to REALLY kill em aren't ya?? Well I'm graduating tomorrow so this summer is going to be rediculous. We need to run down to anna a couple times.
  13. I didn't know it was you
  14. Yeah that's our goal this year, to make the classic. We had some bad tournaments last month so we dropped a bit. Just have to have some consistant tourneys.
  15. We try our best everytime we get out there. We've really only been fishing for 3-4 years so we're still learning a ton. We've been fishing fountainhead for the past 3 years, and still don't know a thing. We don't have any "spots" or honeyholes where we can consistently find fish, but sometimes we just get lucky and catch em. Thanks for the compliment though, it's very much appreciated.
  16. Good job yesterday Matt. You and trevor had a sick bag. We caught limit midlake, and moved up into the river looking for the big bite. Broke off what felt to be a nice fish, but we'll never know. Caught all of our fish on jigs/shakey heads. Finished with 13. something pounds. Caught probably 20 keepers, just no size. Fun day for sure though!! I don't mind that muddy water a bit.
  17. is that a 9.9 on the back? Looks like a walleye boat, nice set up though.
  18. Bass boat? I thought you had a 14 foot aluminum jon boat?
  19. For me, it's all about the hookset, and keeping alot of positive pressure on the fish. When you get the bite, take absolutely no time in setting the hook. Reel the slack and slam her. Most of the time, my jig bites come when the jig is falling. Watch your line because you may be missing the fish due to you not setting the hook quickly enough right when it bites. The fish could have the thing in it's mouth for 4-5 seconds before you notice. Just always watch your line, and if you feel any weight, set the hook.
  20. I wonder if he's fishing the tournament tomrrow ;D ;D ;D ;D I hope so.
  21. I was out there today with soccplayer....wish we ran into rick clunn!!!!!!!!!!!! Was he actually out there?
  22. In Aquia??? I just got a bass boat and a truck so now I can get out wherever. I'm only 18 so it was a bit of a problem before. I hit aquia for the first time last friday and we fished shallow docks in the mouth, we didn't go back into the creek. We launched at willows landing (i believe.....) and went through the no wake and fished past there. Great day, started off on shallow docks with jigs and plastics and later moved deeper and the fish were caught by ripping lipless baits through the grass. Even got a nice one on a spro swimbait!!
