x2 , i only use OWNER OVERSIZED WORM HOOKS in 7/0 , i get so much better hookups with these hooks . i use ole monsters , ss magnums , and of course the best 10'' worm , the Berkeley powerbait powerworm !!!!! Exactly!!!! This is the perfect hook for giant worms.
  2. My current favorite is a junebug colored Jewel football jig with a Zoom Baby Brush Hog in green pumpkin purple color.
  3. Cool!!!!!!!!! Wish I could afford a G. Loomis rod.
  4. You will never see me use any other color Senko color besides the gld/slv/blk flake Senko color. Like anything else including my favorite color Senko, confidence is my biggest deteremining when I chose I color
  5. WTG!!!!!!!! Hope you catch many more like that!!!!!
  6. I only use spinning rods for dropshotting, shakey heads, and Senkos.
  7. x2. Put some floating ear plugs in the hollow section and it's deadly.
  8. I had a Pinnancle reel on my flipping stick before I lost the whole setup. :'( From what I could tell before I lost it, it preformed nicely. If you had a low budget and you needed a reel I would go for it.
  9. What a surprise. :
  10. I know what your talking about Rhino. Every time I go to the store I feel the need to buy jig trailers, only because I haven't caught a bass on a jig yet. I'm sure once I do finally catch a bass on a jig I will stick with the the trailer I was using when I caught the bass. :-[
  11. Early morning or late evening is the best time. Topwater could last all day if it is a cloudy day and their is just a little bit of wind.
  12. I use the same scent on hardbaits that I use on soft baits. That being said, I use MegaStrike.
  13. x2. I have this exact rod for meduim to deep crankbaits. Though real deep divers would be best with the 7'10" rod, the 7'4 is perfect for meduim crankbaits.
  14. Try swimming that Brush Hog weightless and see what it produces.
  15. OK that's a little better. I would be throwing a light Carolina rig (1/4 oz.) where the waters rises up from 10 ft. to 2 ft. Try an finesse worm as the bait for the Carolina rig, It will give you confidence that fish are there because it gets the most amount of bites.
  16. HILARIOUS!!!!!!
  17. Certain baits work best in certain conditions. First off, tell us how deep you are fishing, then tell us are there any weeds or grass present? We need details and lots of them to give you the best advice.

These look cool. What brand are they?
  19. Try an Falcon Cara flipping stick or even a Carrot Stix. I don't see nothing wrong with Carrot Stixs unlike many people.
  20. A bass is a bass isn't it? Congrats!!!!!!!!!! BTW, I would be throwing some frogs in those weeds you showed in that picture.
  21. Now that we got him off the news we can get Michael Jackson off the news next. :
  22. Interesting, as these two attributes rarely go hand in hand. have you seen this 1st hand? I could be wrong, but I think his creature baits do float. Like I said his jig trailers float and I think they have a little bit of salt in them. Of course their not chalked full of salt like Yamamoto baits but I pretty sure they do float. But you said they were filled with salt. I guess I could have used better choice of words. :-/ The bottom line is they have a little bit of salt in them but not NEARLY comparable to Yamamoto baits.
