  1. I guess your right about the safe navigation. I was at my home lake over the weekend which is down about 5' and we were going into a cove about 30 MPH and we hit a tree. Bent Shaft+Bent Prop=$2,000.00
  2. x2. Great reel for $99.00. It also has a pretty good line capacity to handle long cast that comes with crankbait fishing.
  3. Interesting, as these two attributes rarely go hand in hand. have you seen this 1st hand? I could be wrong, but I think his creature baits do float. Like I said his jig trailers float and I think they have a little bit of salt in them. Of course their not chalked full of salt like Yamamoto baits but I pretty sure they do float.
  4. Great fish!!!!!!!!! I think you are right, it's about 2 or 2.5 lbs.
  5. I don't know about his creature baits but his jig trailers float and the are filled with salt and crawfish scent (they smell great): www.basssnacks.com
  6. Smith Mt. Lake Lake Amistad Also, any lake outside of NC
  7. That sounds like a GREAT fish Twitch!!!! BTW, to clean that gunk off I would just spray your reel with freshwater and wipe it off really good. No need to change the line.
  8. I got an Lowrance HDS 7. The shaded relief feature for the map is really nice. Also I can't wait for the SI to become avaliable.
  9. They trying to make you pay for them? ;D I joined for the magazines awhile back....I have terribly regretted doing so.They sent me books,i didn't request or want and expected me to return them every time i got one.I got sick of running to the post office wasting gas.So one day i just didn't return some stupid poster and a coin they sent me and started getting "harassed".After a year of this BS it seems to finally stop and died down.I'm still getting the magazines....which i don't understand...my one year subscription should be up a year ago. They better not send me a bill for it either.Everything i get from them now just goes straight to the trash can...I don't even bother opening anything. Yeah those books are pretty expensive. The only time a keep one is if my mom finds something she likes in it. The only good thing I have gotten from them is a few spools of Berkley Trilene XL. :
  10. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I am a member lately I have been getting tons of fish recipe books. :-?
  12. It happens everyday on my home lake. They are always White Bass though.
  13. For me it has got to be a Carolina rig with a 10" inch Ole Monster or Power Worm. Another pretty good big fish is 3/4 oz. Jewel jig with a Pinch-It jig trailer from Joe S. or a 3.75 Yum Craw Papi.
  14. So what is it? For me it has got to be slightly above full pool.
  15. The Mega Dog kinda looks like something from LFT's Hyper lineup.
  16. Can't wait to try them as well.
  17. That was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they had that much fun at the wedding I wonder how much fun they had at the reception. ;D
