  1. Leftover pizza is nasty. Cold fried chicken is pretty good though.
  2. x2. A picture is worth a thousand words. ;D
  3. I like my Flak Jackets just fine!!!!!
  4. 1. Yes, there may not be to many big ones but there should be a few. 2. Probably a frog over top of the weeds.
  5. Cool. Was the rod and reel still useable?
  6. Really? I was at Topsail all last week and the surf wasn't that bad. Must have been to far south.
  7. Soft Plastics: Gambler, Zoom, Powerbait, GYCB Hardbaits: Lucky Craft, Norman, Rebel, Spro Rods: Shimano, Quantum Reels: Quantum Terminal Tackle: Tru-Tungsten, Owner, Spro Line: Berkley, Vicious
  8. I believe all of Zoom's products sink. If you want something that floats you will mostly have to look for products that say "handpoured", not always but most of the time.
  9. Yes I agree that the "Day on the Lake" is a great and informative article, but aren't the WEC crankbaits part of the Zoom Bait Co.?
  10. I normally don't use baitcasters for skipping, but if I got to use a baitcaster I will tighten the brakes and the cast control all the way.

This is what they look like: http://www.***.com/catpage-TTSH.html If you look closely the eye is sorta bent. This causes the worm to stand straight up in the water. This is my favorite Shakey Head: http://www.***.com/descpageJHBUCK-BSRP.html
  12. That's a great fish!!!!!!!!!
  13. x2. I love detailed post like this!!!!!!
  14. Throw all your Gammie's in the trash, bent or not and get Owner hooks. Seriously though, when I do bend a hook I throw it away.
  15. Get yourself a duffle bag, some Zip-Loc bags, and a Sharpie. First off put a certain type of soft plastic in a Zip-Loc bag and label it accordingly with the Sharpie. Here's an example: put all your Senkos in a Zip-Loc bag and label it "Senkos".

    3/0 circle hook. Preferably Owner.
  17. Personally I think light green and yellow would sound more American.

I like a slow, steady retrieve with the occasional twitch mixed in here and there.
  19. I also believe that a crankbait rod helps on the cast. My 7'4" Tour KVD cranking rod loads up perfectly on the cast to cast my bait a long way.
  20. Sounds like par for the course for Bass Pro Shops.
  21. A good shallow crank and pond crank for me has been the Rapala DT 3.
  22. For the sink rate I use Slow Sink because the baits aren't cheap and this is the most versitile sink rate. For the color I go with Natural Shad.
  23. Just found it. They are called MTM Jostens Recognition. If you want more info, Google "Recognition Lifts the Human Spirit".
  24. I have seen the commercial for the company that makes the Elite Series trophies. For some reason, I can't seem to remember their name, but if I do I will post it here.
  25. If your still not getting bit try 20 lb. flourocarbon. Been using it for some time now in pretty dense cover and haven't broke off a fish yet.
