My grandma uses one of my broken rods to hold up her plants in her garden.

Skunked - HELP!!!
Heres what I would do: First off go get a map (if there is one of the lake you are fishing) and look on the map to where the timber is. While looking at the timber on the map look for creek channels and other structure. If you do this it will save you a lot of time from fishing unproductive water and it will also save you time from motoring around slow looking for bottom features on you Lowrance.

Carolina rig bite.

Anyone using Gene Larew plastics?
This video is the best advertisement I have seen for buying a scale in a LONG TIME. Check out this "6 and a half or 7 pounder" and see if you don't spit your drink on the screen. ;D The funny thing is that my last several 5 pounders were much bigger than that! Ain't that the truth? :

Buzzbaits in the rain

Yet Another Lake Tragedy
X2 ;D They are pesky little things aren't they?

E! - A! - G! - L! - E! - S! - EAGLES!
I think he was trying out for the eagles today. Mcnabb is injured, I know Jake likes throwing to eagles. ;D With 7 turnovers (most of them Jake Delhommes fault) I think they all like giving footballs away to Eagles. :

Sometimes I Question Jake Delhomme
I tell you what, one game you love the guy and he wins you the game and next week he throws 2 interceptions and fumbles once (just like today). Altogether the Panthers had 7 turnovers and lost 38-10. Hope you Philly fans are happy cause I'm not. >

Yet Another Lake Tragedy

Interesting Experience at Dick's/Bought some stuff too.
Wow, that's usually for Dick's Sporting Goods. Everyone that I have been to has had nice and knowledgeable people in the fishing section. God must have rewarded you with the cheap baits for being so nice and helping the customer out.

A question on lizards
Agreed. I have much better luck using Loco lizards as bed baits during the spawn. That doesn't mean I haven't caught bass on them during the Summer though.

What's your best finesse tactic?
A pretty close race between dropshotting and shakey heading.

trailer color for this jig.
Try a Hurrican Craw colored Gambler Flappy Jr. 3".

What's your favorite worm and worm hook
Gambler Giggy Stick in chartruese pumpkin with the tails dyed in red garlic Spike-It. Don't fish it on a regular hook much (mostly I fish it on a Spot Remover 1/4 oz.), but if I did probably a 3/0 Owner Wide Gap Plus hook.

I hate fast food but...
Hmmm... haven't tried that one. Chicken Burritos are my favorite from Taco Bell.

Largies in NC
Okay, the background kinda looks like something from Jordan.

C-Rig
Sounds like you got everything down pat setup wise. Now, the way I like to retrieve is slowly dragging or hopping the bait all the way back to the boat and repeat.

Bad picture for such a big fish
That's a HOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Jig/Spinnerbait trailers
Don't use a spinnerbait trailer much, but when I do I use the Yum Bogee Tail in a color that matches my spinnerbait skirt. For jigs I go with either a Yum Muy twin-tail grub, Yum chunk, or Yum Craw Papi. I usually try to match the color of the trailer to the skirt, but if its off a little bit I don't see it has a bad thing.
