That water looks like the BIG NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody must have gotten about six dump truck loads of the clay in Iredell county and dumped it into that pond!!!!!!!!
  4. x2. That's exactly what I would use it for.
  5. I also like the Code very much. I use it on my flipping stick so I don't do too much casting with it. It seems like a very sturdy and smooth reel at a very good price.
  6. Yes, I do like the Burst. So much that I own three of them. Seriously though, the Burst reel is a great reel at a great price. I believe that it gets overlooked by many because it has a small price tag or because it is a Quantum. :
  7. I don't know, but my local tackle shop has a lot of RI products. They even have a few packs of BMF hooks and last time I looked, they had quite a few of Swamp Donkeys.
  8. Also, don't you think that you should be charged less for more you buy? BPS is ****e. I'm sticking with TW. :
  9. Drop a few ice cubes in.
  10. Good idea.

Strike King's series of crankbaits are good, as well as Bomber's Fat Free Shad. Like others have said, shad patterns work well in the summer.
  12. Mine right now is a Jewel football jig with a Yamamoto Flappin' Hog.
  13. It is a Jewel football jig with a Yamamoto Flappin' Hog. This thing looks sweet!!!!!!
  14. My favorite is a Excalibur Xr50.
  15. just curious is 15% usually as high as they go for sale discounts? No, sometimes I have seen them go as high as 20% off.
  16. Shimano Clarus casting rod and a Quantum Burst casting reel.
  17. If I was a moderator I would have moved this thread without even opening it!!! ;D Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. I want to peg my Texas-rig weight to make it stop sliding but I have had no luck using a toothpick. Is there anything else out there to peg my weight?
  19. 15% off everything virtually every other holiday isn't bad either.
  20. I would go with the Shimano Compre. It is very lightweight and is more than sensitive enough with the blank-thru foregrip.
  21. Thanks!!!!!! Just wondering where it was because I have never heard of it before.
