  1. That is good advice. Do you usually use the same baits for each depth application. For instance if you fish a weed bed in the afternoon with a 10" junebug worm and a beaver without a hit will you hit it again with a 8" worm and a brush hog. Same with day to day? If you are not getting constant strikes on the baits you use, but you caught fish int he past with will you change? I tend to use the same baits which I have confidence in. x3. That is an excellent piece of advise for dissecting a location that you are fishing.
  2. My shakey head/drop shot rod is a 7' M Shimano Compre spinning rod. It will run you about $110.00 and when you buy from Tackle Warehouse it is free shipping.
  3. That is a nice fish!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you catch many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Joe's Jig Trailers. The specific ones I use are the Pinch-It versions.

I usually wait until I see my line moving before setting the hook.
  6. They have something to that in Wal-Mart.
  7. My mine is a Carolina rigged lizard. My second best is some type of small finesse worm for drop-shotting (they vary a lot that's why I didn't put a particular brand.)
  8. Wow, now I am sorry I made fun of the guy.
  9. It works pretty good for me. Of course there are better lines out there, but I don't exactly have all the money in the world, so I will just stick with it until it gives me a reason to change lines.
  10. Don't fish right on top of the road bed, fish in the ditches beside it. You can fish the ditches with any bait you want like a Carolina rig, jig, or a shakey head.
  11. 1 pack of Rage Tail Space Monkeys in Double Header color. 1 pack of Rage Tail Craws in Summer Craw color.
  12. I mainly fish high speed reels when I am fishing with slow techniques like Carolina rig, jig, and others. The high speed reel is better because it allows you to pick the slack up quick so you set the hook quick and efficiently
  13. No, it is an Inspirinity I believe.
  14. Do yourself a favor and get the Flukes. Gulp! baits aren't worth the trouble. My favorite color is white.
  15. I was out fishing this morning at my local lake and I was throwing a Shakey Head around some bridge pilings, but sadly didn't get any fish. While I was fishing with my Shakey Head, I couldn't really keep in contact with my bait. The only way I knew it had reached the bottom is because I saw my line stop falling. Once I knew it had reached the bottom, I lifted my bait but I couldn't get the feel I wanted for it. Do I need a more sensitive rod? I was using a 6'6" Shakespeare spinning rod (not an Ugly Stik ) with 10 lb. monofilament and a 1/4 oz. Buckeye Lures Spot Remover.
  16. I currenty carry eight. As soon as I get some money I will have 20.
  17. I am talking about if you are not fishing known big fish waters and you are not using huge baits. Also, if you aren't sight fishing for them. So watch do you ladies and gentlemen think? I just thought about this as an open debate, so don't bash me posting it.
  18. 30 lb. Sufix braided line to use for the main line. For a leader I use Vicious 15 lb. Flourocarbon line.
  19. You noticed that too huh!?! What do you guys mean? I believe what they meant is what the guy is saying is bull, hence the symbol.
  20. Yup, there is a soution to your problem: A 3/4 oz. Revenge Flipping Jig with a Rage Tail Craw dipped in JJ's and smothered in Megastrike. This will get any fishes attention within a mile!!!!!!
  21. If you find out that you did make a mistake send it to me and I will get rid of it for you!!!!! Oh, and unlike Dmac, I can't pay shipping you will have to do that for me too. ;D
  22. I can't get over the fact that your friend knocked him out. What did the guy do when he got up?
  23. Yes it will work just as well. The only difference is that regular bullet weights don't have a screw.
  24. I would say it would be a little bit over 4 pounds, but there is no way to know for sure because all bass are not created equal. Anyway, it's a GREAT fish and I hope you catch many more like it!!!
