Saturday was about my third outing with it so far and I have to tell you I hate the hook hanger. Every time I made a flip and there would be slack in the line it would caught in the hook hanger and it was very frustrating. I am seriously thinking about cutting it off, I don't use hook hangers a lot anyway.

Anytime you want too. Many people have caught fish in freezing weather and water tempuratures. I was out fishing last Saturday and caught about a 4 pounder on a black Lunker Lure buzzbait. I was "buzzing" it right beside a laydown and she just exploded on it. The water tempurature in that area was about 66 degrees but in sunny areas it was as warm as 72 degrees.

I know they only lost by about 2 pounds. I would have liked to see them win too.

The colors are just a knock off of the Quantum Energy's. The reel itself is probably better than the Quantum Energy's though.

I would use one if I had one. I just have never got around to getting a net.

I like to use it on the beds while the bass are spawning. I texas-rig it with a really light weight and I pitch into the bed with spinning gear.

I would just put all the worms in a new plastic bag and put some of your favorite scent in the bag and make sure the scent covers ALL the worms. You should be covered after that.

Agreed. People who have been fishing for awhile would like new not used fishing gear that THEY KNOW is not going to let them down in the long run. As for beginning fishermen or women your business idea MIGHT work for them. I think that is the only group of people it might work for because the don't want to go out and spend $200.00 dollars on a new rod and reel combo just when they are starting out. But then again, those beggining fishermen or women could have a close friend or relative that will let them borrow or have some of their fishing gear; thus resulting in a complete failure for your used fishing gear store. I could be wrong though you never know. If you do start one let us know how it goes.

I will be happy with whatever is on the end of my line if it is of decent size. I voted for LM because we have no SM down here; and LM fishing is all I have ever known. I wouldn't mind going up north and catching a few SM instead of LM just to see what is like. But I think I will be more happy with LM.

When do you guys go to a non-action type trailer like a Zoom Salty Pro Trailer which has little twirling action? When do you go to a trailer like a Rage Tail chunk which has a lot of action? Does it even matter what trailer you use?

Both. I have had excellent sucess using both techniques.

I would go with Quantum for spinning and baitcasters. That is all I use and I have NEVER had a problem with ANY of my reels.

When I pull out a new one to fish, I just go ahead and pull apart all of the apendages. It doesn't matter what technique I am using.
