For some reson I always chose skirts that don't stick out past the head.
  2. Bass Pro Shops for sure.
  3. For me it has got to be texas-rigged weightless. Also called weightless wormin' and floating worm.
  4. I wish I had money like you guys do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. 1. Roboworm 5" Zipper Shakin' worm. Aaron's Magic color 2. Zoom Shakey Tail worm. Any dark color worm will do fine for me.
  6. I saw on TW that all Powell Max Casting rods have extra fast tapers. First off, what does this mean? Second, where is the taper located? Does it mean that the rods tip bends a lot? I have no idea and I was just wondering.
  7. I also like the show. I really liked it when they were catching some nice fish off the docks and then went under the water to show how the bass were stacked up on the pilings. Was a very informative show (at least that episode).
  8. It's kinda hard to pre-hook a fish if they are doing a topwater show don't you think?
  9. I think having foam will reduce your overall rod weight just a bit, but not by much. If you don't think you will care much about a fraction of a ounce I would still go with foam just because it feels and looks great!!!
  10. Two words: CARROT STIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the lightest rod you will ever own. As for the reel I would go with a Quantum Code 7.1:1 gear ratio. If you don't like that model anything else Quantum is awesome, take my word for it!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Yeah I had to teach myself to fish because my dad had never fished before in his life. Also, I had nobody else to help me (except for you guys!!).
  12. I wouldn't worry about it and feed the bait monkey ;D. They just have the best price on anything and everything you couldn't think of that pertains to bass fishing.
  13. I am currently in the market for some topwater line. The topwaters I am going to be using are: poppers, buzzbaits, frogs, and zara spooks. What do you guys reccomend for line poundage? Also do you reccomend braid or monofilament line? Thanks for the help in advance!
  14. Like I said mine will occasional hang up when I let my line go when I am flipping. I pitch more than I flip so it shouldn't be to much of a problem.
  15. HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! I do wonder though if that has ever happened before?
  16. That is an absolute GIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. So what is the best fishing decision you have ever made? For me it would have to be a Saturday last year when me, my buddy, and his dad where fishing a electric motor only lake. We where not getting anything at our "best spot" so I made the decision to go fish some docks since we were not hitting on much there. All I can say is that it was the best fishing decision of my life! First pitch to the dock and I land a 4 pounder (my PB). About 5 minutes later my buddies dad lands a 6 pounder, after that my buddy lands about a 3 pounder. In all we caught about 10 fish in about 20 minutes. Needless to say my buddy and his dad loved me for mentioning that we should go and fish the docks.
  18. Ok thanks Catt, I will keep that in my head next time I head out.
  19. I hate every driver EXCEPT: KASEY KAHNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he would just go to a different team he might actually win some races.
  20. 17# pound florocarbon is just about right for the jigs and worms but you defintily need to reduce the poundage for finesse fishing. I would use about 14# flourocarbon for crankbaits, jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits.
  21. Booyah Pigskin jig and Yum Craw Papi:
  22. Yeah it is my parents boat I guess I should have said that instead of saying it was mine. O well it is still AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Yeah I consider myself real lucky. Of course it is not actually my boat because my name isn't on the title but I still love this boat anyway.
  24. To answer you question Catt, the water conditons were pretty clear. As for the weather conditions it was high pressure and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
  25. Hey I haven't thought about cutting it off, thanks for the idea I might just try that. It doesn't look to strong so I might could just do it with scissors. What do you think?
