What line do you use for flippin/pitchin?
I like to use 20# flourocarbon for flipping and pitching. For some reason I think that braided line reduces my number of strikes. I now you guys are probably laughing at this right now but it is just something I have always thought.

eakins jig question
Two words RAGE TAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though Rage Tails do have a lot of action and I do sometimes dye the claws to give it some extra excitement to the bass.

simple maybe dumb questions.
What city do you live in? I live in Sanford and also fish the lakes you mentioned. As for your worm question I like to fish them by casting out letting them sink to the bottom and hopping or twitching them back to the boat or shore. You could also swim the back to the boat by casting them out and simply reel slowly back to the boat or shore. Hope this helps some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On becoming a topwater purist
I guess you could call discipline or whatever you would like to call it. But I only use topwaters when the situation calls for it. I have even had some years when I haven't pulled a certain topwater out of my tacklebox just because the situation never called for it.

When to use a 10 inch worm
I like to use a 10" inch worm on a carolina rig. I really only use them when I am trying to cull fish, but like others said they will also catch small ones.

FLW Outdoors TV Annoying.
I was also watching the show on Sunday. I forgot the announcers name but one guy his voice is SOOOOO annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also agree with you about them stating the obvious, I believe that every TV annoucer does that. It's not just in FLW but also in BASS and some news channels.

Quantum Energy PT Casting Rods
I saw these on Tackle Warehouse awhile back and I am saving up to get one. How is this rods: sensitivity, backbone (pulling the big ones out of the thick stuff). I am planning to save up to get the flippin stick. Is this money well spent or should I keep looking around for a better rod? Thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Space Monkey
I will have to try those. I have a lot of Rage Tail Chunks but I don't have any other of their products besides the Rage Toads and Rage Shads.

Ponds vs. Lakes
I think you can call it whatever you want to, as long as the name you are going to call it isn't outrageous like saying a 4 acre pond is a lake. BTW, I don't know what the "official" standards are for N.C. between a pond or lake.

Shaky Head
I don't think it "needs to" but it certainly helps with the action and look of the bait if it stands upright. You can use any worm you want to on a shakey head you might get lucky and find something the bass haven't seen before and you can absoulutly kill the bass because they haven't seen it before. IMO the best worm for the shakey head is the Roboworm Zipper Shakin worm in the Aaron's Magic color. BTW haven't used the Squirrel tail yet so I can't help you there. I hope this helps some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Carolina rig rod
I use a 7' Meduim Heavy rod with a Quantum Burst 7.1:0 gear ratio baitcasting reel. My rod by the way is a Field and Stream IM6 graphite. I am looking to get another one because the rod isn't very sensitive, I will stick with the same action and lenght though. The line that I use is 20# Sufix monofilament for the main line and 15# P-line flourocarbon leader of about 1-2'.

bubblegum color trick worm
You can also use them in muddy water too. IMO they work best as a topwater bait. I like to rig mine on a 3/0 Owner offset worm hook. I fish it by just twitching it real slow back to the boat or shore. hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dilemma. Need advice
Simple solution. Get both!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Seriously though I have 2 Sebile Magic Swimmers and I love the swimming action. I also have 2 SPRO BBZ-1 Shads but I haven't got the chance to use them yet. As for the Tru-Tungsten 4" I don't have one so I have no idea about those.
