  1. 1/4 oz. Buckeyes Lures Spot Removers.
  2. I use the palomar for braid. Make sure you inspect your knot after you tie to make sure you tied it correctly. If you are still breaking off after that I would recommended switching to higher pound braid.
  3. I think you defintly need to upgrade to about 14-17# flourocarbon line. I think the reel will be O.K. But it wouldn't hurt to get about a 7' meduim rod for longer cast.
  4. I just saw these baits on BPS's website a few minutes ago and I wanted to know if you guys on here have used them before. If so what are the pro's and con's of the bait.
  5. Nice to have you on the forum!! Where are you in NC?? I live in Sanford which is just below Raleigh.
  6. It was an Osprey Talon swimbait.
  7. I use Roboworms Zipper Shakin worms anout 95% of the time. My second choice would be the Zoom shakey tail worm.
  8. As you can see by my name I love fishing docks, though I haven't tried these techniques I will try them sometime soon and see if I have any luck with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I remeber you posting about wether or not to go. It's a good thing you went isn't it!!!!!!!!
  10. I heard somewhere that you needed a narrower trailer to collect less trash while you flipping into the thick stuff. What do you guys think? Was a told a lie or should I stock up on narrow trailers?
  11. Since I have only been fishing for bass about 2 years now I would perfer to fish with a buddy because I can always learn something from somebody no matter who I fish with.
  12. Went out today and yesterday and today and only caught one fish. Yesterday (Saturday) I went to Jordan lake NC and caught my one and only fish on a Rapala DT 3 firetiger crankbait. Today (Sunday) I went to a small lake in a gated community called Carolina Trace and didn't catch a thing but my buddy caught a 6 pounder on a split shot rig with a Zoom Trick Worm (green pumpkin). All in all a pretty good outing especially for my buddy!
  13. I like a 7 foot meduim rod for my crankbaits.
  14. Nice what jig and trailer were you using?
  15. Thats one nice fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live about 30 minutes from Raleigh. Did you get her from Harris lake? 8-)
  16. I wish they would put a Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's somewhere near Raleigh, NC. 8-)
  17. You should bring as much as you need and I few more if you boater will let you. I fish as a non boater and my boater has enough room to carry all of my setups which is about 7. I don't think there will be a rule for limiting the number of rods a non boater can carry. Like I said before it all goes back to the boater and how much he or she will let you carry. 8-)

I use Lunker Lure buzzbaits. The hooks on those things are the sharpest I have ever seen on anything. By the way the color I go to most of the time is black. 8-)
  19. I have a Revenge Flipping jig. They look pretty nice I am hoping to get to some boat docks soon to try them out. 8-)
  20. Gulp! baits are over rated there is plenty of other baits that will catch you fish without dealing with the juice and stink of the baits. Like berkleyfan said even if you do mix the baits together you will get cool looking colors. In fact, I caught my first fish of 2009 on a Senko mixed with gold and red. 8-)
  21. I saw these at Dick's and there is about 6 in a pack I think. They are individualy wrapped in some kind of liquid like the Gulp! baits are. In my opinion they are just a big knockoff of the Berkley Gulp! baits. 8-)
  22. I have had this happen before when some man comes out drinking his cappicunio and thinking he owns the water under his boat dock where I am throwing my senko and tells me to get away from his boat dock. Anybody had this happen before? If so how did you react? 8-)
  23. Here in NC bass fishing is open anytime you get the urge to fish as long as you have a fishing license. 8-)
  24. lately I have been getting a lot of backlashes. I was wondering is there a certain way I should play with the brake and cast control to reduce my backlashes and keep me fishing longer?
  25. I hate it when you are watching something like that then all of a sudden Billy Mays comes on talking about ESPN 360 and Mighty Putty. ;D ;D ;D ;D
