Ive wondered the same thing, passed by it numerous times on the interstate, looks to me like it has a lot of standing trees from what I saw. Hopefully someone will give out some info on it.

Strike King 3X plastics
I bought some SK Zeros and put some O-rings on them for wacky rig. When I went for them today, where the O ring is, its like the worm has shrunk (its more slim under the ring) so the o ring is not tight on the worm and fits real loosely. Because of this, the o-ring is slipping off the hook. I have all my Zeros seperated in a box, should I keep them in the bags, will that keep them from doing this? Is it the sun or heat thats doing it? I tried using the worm without an o-ring and it worked ok, but not as long as it would with an o-ring. Any suggestions? I bought a bunch and would like to continue using them.

Re: Negative Tackle Warehouse experiences? anyone else?
Just wanted to let you guys and everyone else reading this that Tackle Warehouse made everything right, what really suprised me was they left me a message asking for me to call so I could explain the issue and they could fix it (they must have read it on here). But everything has been resolved. Ill definitely be ordering from them again

Memorial day VA
Anyone gonna attempt to get out on the water tommorow in VA? Was wanting to get out early to try and beat all the skiers and pleasure boaters but cant decide where. Was either gonna keep it close and go to the Pamunkey since I probablly wouldnt be fishin all day, or I might go out to the Chick and stay a little longer.

Livewell maintnence?
So I bought my first boat last year and when I bought it, the livewell needed a new pump and a new drainage hose. Since I havent needed the livewell the past year, I just never got around to fixing it. But now I have fixed it and would hope to use it. My only concern is, that the boat was sitting for years ( its a 1980 Bass Tracker ), im worried about containments of any kind that have got in there over the years, is there anything I should do before sacrificing the life of fish in it? IS there any kind of cleaning or soaking I should do? And like the boat, the inside of the livewell is also aluminum. Thanks

Try a salt water tackle shop, I would think a BPS or Cabelas would have them in there saltwater section.

The weather report hows its gonna be high 80's to 90 this weekend. Where are all yall planning on fishing? Has anyone noticed them on their beds yet, water should do right much warming this week with the high temps I believe. I was thinking about going to the Pamunkey or the Chick but havent decided yet.

Okuma Stratus STX
Dick's sporting goods sent me a spring fishing flier, had a Okuma Stratus STX for $40 regularly $70 or the STX 55/56 for $50 regularly $80. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these.

Zoom trick worm
I like to rig it with a light wire offset worm hook, make sure you skin the hook point to make it weedless. I like fishing them around wood cover and lily pads. The technique that has been best for me is 2 small twitches (youll see when you get out how sensitive the worm is to rod movement so you only need a tiny twitch) and let it fall like a wacky rig. If the fish are more aggressive I like to twitch it all the way back in just below the surface. Hope this helps, Brian.

Fresh/Salt Water spinning reel
Yea I know the fight the dolphin put up, we take the boat out probablly 20 times per year to catch them, I took a old Daiwa spinning reel out last year it was a 3000 size (only a $20 reel) and it lasted the day catching probablly 9 dolphin, biggest around 9 lbs. And we fish the grass throwing out cutbait. So thats why I ask if yall use any for both and they last, because that reel was made to be a bass reel, but now its not much of a reel.

Fresh/Salt Water spinning reel
Im looking into buying a new spinning reel for fresh water, but I was also wanting a smaller sized spinning reel for salt water (catching small 5-10lb dolphin offshore). I plan on using different rods but same reel if I find one to do the job. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should look into?

Best waters for numbers in VA
After reading the few post about Hunting run and looking at the aerial map, it looks and sounds pretty nice. I got a boat but I think that it is electric only am I correct? Is there any rules that allow you to use a bass boat in there if you remove the gas tank or anything like that?

Best waters for numbers in VA
I was just wondering what you guys thought would be a good place to go (fairly close to central VA) where I could go if I was going for numbers instead of size. Is there any smaller lakes around that keeps a good amount of bass stocked around?

Drop Shot baits?
sorry to bring up a new question, but when you guys fish a drop shot and you are in the "pause" phase of the retrieve, do you let it sit on slack line and wait for the fish to take your line sideways or do you keep the line kinda tight so you can feel the strike?

Shakey Head help
I didn't have many finesse technique baits so I picked a bag of Zoom Mag Shakey Head Worms (Watermelon and Red Flake) with the strike king shakey heads. I got the lure, but lack the knowledge of where I should use it. Do you throw it around timber, grass, open water, docks, or just anywhere? Thanks, Brian.

Fishin the Pamunkey, lure suggestions?
Gonna hit the Pamunkey for the first time in several months on Sunday. The high temp is suppose to be around 63 and the low is 48. The water has always been stained. Im going to get there for the out going tide, any suggestions on lures I should throw?
