  1. So, it's the weekend now but my dad has to work so he can't take me out on the boat or anything.. But there is little lake a bike ride from my house that has bass in it (we have caught a few). But you can only fish from the bank there and there is just a small area where it is possible. But I love to fish and was thinking about riding my bike up there and fish for a few hours. I was just wondering if yall thought it would be worth itand what time would I need to get there to have the best chance of catching anythingand what should I bring with me ( as in lures or baits ) I usually fish senkos and really like them. Thanks everyone and sorry for this kind of meaningless topic but I just want to get out and catch some fish by myself for once. (I think it would make my dad proud) Oh and im 16 years old by the way.

  15. So me and my dad entered a tournament at our local lake. There was about 15-20 boats. So we got on the lake and started fishing. I caught a 4lber. Then on the NEXT cast i got a 3lber. Then a little later i got 1 lber and a 2lber. And my dad only got 1 fish. We ended up with like 11 something pounds and got 2nd place!!! 1st place had 17 something and 3td had 6 something. So we beat 3rd by a lot. It was my first tourny and was very excited. Will have pics later. ;D

  22. every hookset i do is usually straight up. Only other way is if i see my line moving left then i set right or vice versa. I hook a lot of fish but i lose some every now ans then
