need legal info debate
I have on occasion kept bass; I don't care what others say they are excellent fried. I fish Toledo Bend and if I keep my legal limit of 8 bass it aint gonna effect nothing. Some guys are getting awfully close to worshipping bass which in my option is worse than keeping them. It's all has to do with the body of water period

Anchoring System to improve productivity
Even if you use the gripper always tie your rope to the bow eye, these grippers are known to let your rope slip. As for installation what I did was have a 3/16th plate of aluminum welded under the gripper then drilled/tapped the holes and installed machine bolts.

Question-removing bench seats from jon
Well alrighty then This is a perfect example of why it is important to provide as much informant as possible when asking questions. After reviewing your photos it would be possible to remove the middle seat with out losing structural integrity. If you notice your seats are not attached to the floor, ribs were added on both side of each seat, some manufacturers use the seat as structural strength and do not add ribs. If my calculations are correct if you remove the seat you will be left with 20 holes in the side of the boat, my suggestion would be to have these holes welded. Many people believe welding makes the aluminum brittle, this is false since most all aluminum boat are made from 6061T6 aluminum which is highly wieldable. Good luck, that is a fine project for you and your son, keep us updated

First you were using a Tiki Stick instead of a Senko Second you were using Gamakatsu instead of Daiichi Third you were using Abu instead of Shimano Fourth you were using Berkley instead of Power Pro Fifth you probably had on boxers instead of briefs You can't catch em all

Toledo Bend
Now we're talking, my neck of the woods, it's also where t bend tex (Larry Gerald) place is located. My I suggest for boat launch, tent camping, RV camping, rooms/cabins http://www.pleasurebend.com Ph (409) 579-2210 Six Mile Marina: http://www.toledo-bend.net/sixmile Ph (409) 579-9898 Hillside Inn & RV Park: http://www.toledo-bend.com/hillside Ph (409) 579-3422 Twin Oaks RV Park: email address only twinoaks@sabinenet.com Ph (409) 579-3078 Sportsman: great caf é, vaughnkk@jas.net Ph (409) 579-3292 My personal favorite is Vaughn's K & K (Sportsman) because they are located just across the Six Mile Bridge which is where the public boat launch is, their caf é has excellent cooking at reasonable prices, & their rooms though small are only $28.50 a night. Six Mile Marina has just reopened under new management and I've heard nothing but good things about it. If I could email you I could put you on 2 big bass holes that would probably win just about any tournament. Both spots have produced numerous DD bass and a Bass-N-Bucks stringer of 33.34 lbs.

Matt what area are you planning on fishing?
-
How bad do you want to keep on fishing
Exactly; I will add it all depends on where the hook is located I've refused to remove a hook only once; it was a 12 year old girl with a hook in the corner of her eye and under the bone. When asked if I could help I replied certainly and called a friend who is a Neurosurgeon that was on the lake.
