New PB and no LBH

Featured Replies

Bittersweet.  The day Russ was striper fishing I was out with my wife for her first trip of the year.  I got my new PB of 7.3.  In roughly12-14 ft, watermelon/red *** beaver (Thanks Brent), 1/8 oz black bullet.  Hit on the drop, think she was on a bed?? :)

Sucks Russ wasn't with me, almost didn't feel right but considering the fish he was catching on the Bay, as a team, we covered all the bases for the infamous june moon frenzy.

Wow! What a fatty! How long was she?

MY FISH!!   ;D

I'm pretty sure he didn't measure length, neither of us ever have.  Especially when we accidentally grab one full of egg, I'm sure he was shaking just trying to weigh her and get her back in the water.

Whoa...Dude!

That's a beauty. Brent better send you a complimentary package of ***.

Nice fish, great pic.

Now that you've got me thinking about length, this fish looks like the length of a solid 5 lbr in summer.  we've hit fish to 7 lbs in here NOT during the spawn.  State record could be sitting on a bed in there as we type......

Man that stinks you couldn't have your fishin partner there to witness. Awesome fish though. From the looks of it your lucky it didn't bust open in your boat. That is one massive gut. Congrats on a new PB!
