  1. d**n!!! That 2ManyCrankb8s, fourth picture down, man I guess I really took the cake today! Thanks for the pics, it was fun, can't wait till next weekend!!
  2. I travel to Clearwater probably 4-6 times a year and never have any ideas of where to fish. Today I drove through the Land O' Lakes area and it looked like fish haven, but I didn't have a rod with me! :'( Anybody help me out a little, shoot me some info and locations of where to try the next time I'm up there???
  3. Every time I see your paint jobs I think to myself, "How the heck does he do that one?" I think you have some of the most creativity and far superior paint jobs than most people on here! Congrats on another beautiful batch!
  4. Hey Nick! Great catch! Maybe not the monster you're looking for but I still haven't gotten a hang of swimbait techniques. It will come with time, but in the mean time I get to watch guys like you! It's inspiring!
  5. That sounds like a dream come true! I look over the maps all the time to see if there are any places that maybe someone has overlooked just to get that one try. ;D
  6. That's some awesome fishing in Central Florida, Rolo. Looks like Mom really had you beat!
  7. I like to use Gamma Copolymer when crankin' b/c of the extra strength for the diameter, and the characteristics of the copolymer. Since I switch from BPS Fluorocarbon to the Gamma, I have noticed that I have not broken off once which I was doing more often then I would like to. Whatever you choose, it must be with your discretion. Buy a couple spools you are interested in and give them all a couple tries. Its the best way to know what you are comfortable with!
  8. All though I don't care for the colors, the crackle effect looks good. Personally I'm thinking sexy shad colors with that crackle effect, or maybe a Tennessee shad!
  9. Can you explain what I'm looking at? I think you created split grip, but It's kinda fuzzy
  10. I can't wait to see the bluegill finished!!
  11. I think an eye will make it look a little better, but nice paint work!!
  12. And it was looking so nice, oh well, you'll get it next time
  13. This all happened in two weeks. 1ST - Found a Shimano Calcutta 100dc on sale for $399.00 at TW, waited for labor day, which they then raised the price cause of their 15% off sale, so I called them up and they dropped it back and took 10% off so I paid $359.00. 2ND - Found a G-Loomis MBR782C GLX (old version) brand new, paid $150.00 at fishing show 3RD - Found another G-Loomis Bronzeback SMR812C at a Marina tackle store in the middle of BFE for $90.00 brand new with tags I felt like I won the Lottery!!!!!!
  14. That baby is sweet!! I Love checking out your paint jobs!
  15. I love to see when someone takes pride in their work!!! BTW, what kind of crankbait is that???
  16. Lake Toho from what I hear is great, but also Lake Okeechobee if you feel like coming an hour south or so.....
  17. It takes a while to build the patience when you are just learning, but once you begin catching its an amazing feeling! It only gets better from here on out!
  18. Now I have been a huge fan of Owner Stinger Black Chrome treble hooks for all my baits, but the other day I went to my local Dick's to pick some up and they only had them in smaller sizes. However, I noticed some VMC Barbarian treble hooks they had in the sizes I was looking for. What do you think between the two and has anyone tried these VMC Barbarian hooks??? I didn't buy the VMC's, but I'm wondering if I should even bother with them.
  19. I believe the MattLures Co. just released a Baby Bass Hardbait, and it is beyond sick. This color works on my trips out!
  20. I couldn't have said it better myself!! I would love to get that some of my LC RC3.5RT's!!!! If you were to charge someone to paint their own baits, what would you charge??
  21. That baby might have some potential, paint is nice, hopefully it will run nice too!
  22. Congrats! Almost makes you feel like you stole something!! Enjoy the Fuji Alconites!!! ;D
  23. Those are some of the better paint jobs I've seen!! I personally like the 1st, 2nd, and 4th!
