  3. Welcome. Start by reading "Fishing Articles" on the top left hand corner of this page. Valuable info there.
  4. Why would you need to buy anything seperate for the winter time? The boots you use in spring and fall will be the same you use in winter. I don't wear waders in the summer, but if, I did it would be the same get-up just without the layers and thick socks. I guess thats what Im confused about. You're not as confused as he is.

  8. Get real any braid will snap off if you get a back-lash. i have never snapped braid on a cast even with a backlash.i have been using braid since the early 1990's.i might agree it would happen with a 5 oz lure but i don't throw anything over 1 oz..worn line doesn't count because it should have been retied. Fireline braid will snap , end of argument.
  9. Congrats on your PB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Do you have the floater or the sinker? What kind of fish have you caught with it? I was just using the picture I posted to show a hard swim-bait in a bluegill color because it was on the computer, and i was too lazy to go on TW and find mine. I could never spend $80 on a swim bait. But i've caught some swimbait fish on a Reaction Strike Revolution Bluegill 3.5" in slow sink as I recently picked up the bluegill color to get into this swimbait craze. This is the one im using -->http://www.***.com/Reaction_Strike_Revolution_Bluegill_35/descpage-RSRBG.html#multiview Busted again , you'll never learn will you ?
  11. Excellent work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Do you feel like you really need a few more inches of height ? Their already made to stand in. No advantage that I could see. JMHO
  13. If you believe that , just keep them in the water while you're taking the hook out. I personally have never heard that but there are many things I have not heard or experienced.

If you put this in the correct category (Tackle-making) , you'd probably get more responses.

  21. He was very passionate in his beliefs , that's probably why his not here any more , too much rocking the boat which some here couldn't tolerate. I for one miss his wit and passion very much.
  22. If your degree and potential employment deals with the fishing field, it is far from ludicrous. BTW, his degree is associated with the fishing field. Know the facts, then speak. Robby, I'll be down to visit for the pre-spawn. It's great to take up for your buddy but zero in on the job before you make a total commitment to move before you know what your possibilities truly are. Sorry to have ticked you off !
