This is a little irresponsible IMHO. There is no comparison between a carbon stradic and one of the finest reels ever made. The stella is a far superior reel in every way and the new stradic's are nice just not even close to the same ballpark. However for 200 or less this might be the best reel you can purchase. Daiwa advantage is another nice reel in that range as well........ What makes the Stella so incomparable? I'm curious. Buy one , fish it ,then you'll understand.

Welcome. Good choice for the reel. 7 ' , MH , FAST ACTION ROD is a good all purpose rod. Thre are many great rods in the 200.00 price range that would make you a good outfit.

I like you're thinking. It's just for a nice 300 dollar rod I feel like I need to mount something good on it. I wish those Supreme's didn't have Pflueger across it in big letters. I think it's more of a problem with the P and F. They just shouldn't go together like that. And the whole ueg. I guess I'll have to go to the local tackle shop and check some out to see what I like. Nick , you're just flat-out funny.
