Another Lakeland Florida Guy

Featured Replies

I noticed at least one other member from Lakeland!

My Name is Neil Blackwood and I'm a full time custom knifemaker.  I grew up on a lake in NY state and have been bass fishing since I was a little kid.  We moved to Florida about 15 years ago.   Being self employed and working from home allows me to sneak out onto the local lakes as often as possible.  My 15 year old Son and I also like to  hit Kissimmee, Toho and the Big O once in a while.

Over the summer I bought a Tracker Tournament V-18 with a 115 Optimax.  I plan on upgrading the standard electronics as time and funds permit.  So far, we've been having a lot of fun with it.

I find this forum very interesting, getting the local fishing information, etc.  I'm hoping we get some wet weather after soon, I'd like to start fishing Lake Parker again!!!

Thanks again for the welcomes.  Every year I'm busy with my business right around the best fishing time of the year  ::)   But I'm fishing tomorrow and monday.  Hopefully Toho one of the two days   :)
