Sufix , power pro , and stren super braid are quality braids you might try.

I will be using it for heavier cranks and I understand it is not an accepted method to throw heavier cranks with spinning rods. Thank you for your input.

Quantum Energy PT spinning rod , 3/8-1 1/2 oz. Daiwa Coastal inshore spinning rod , 3/8- 1 1/2 oz. Does any body have any experience with either one of these rods ? Any info would greatly be appreciated.

You mean medium power instead of med action don't you , there is a differance in the two. You probably need a med-hvy or hvy powered rod for that application.

Are you guys targeting the small mouth or are you fishing for other species ?

Since when does a bait caster have a bail on it ?

Some are available now , some on 12-22 and the rest on 12-29.

Makes no sense , just buy another rod.
