Trust me, I do want a 42" or 48" wide jon, but they are rare around here and the couple I did see were not decked the way I would want, so I'd be paying extra for something I would have to rip out and replace. I'm not much for standing all day so am hoping a 36" will be stable enough with just an elevated pedestal seat. The saga continues. Never settle for less than you want. You will end up regretting it. JMHO

They are stable. Would not want to get caught on rough water with one. How fast ? It's not. On a lake that size , it would definately be a bank hugger. Jon boat would be more safe. JMHO

Color doesn't mean much to the fish as long as they can see it , they'll eat it. If you think color matters , go with the herring. It looks like it might have some reflective colors.

What type of baits do you fish with ? Crank baits , spinner baits , top water , plastics , jigs , or do you fish live bait ? Do you want to fish deep or shallow . Do you fish from the bank or a boat ?

For bass fishing definately no good. Too heavy , too wimpy. There is a reason you can't find any threads on the search you did. They are better suited for cat's , carp. A good rod for kids. Move up to a better rod for that curado. Oh by the way , welcome.

Never heard of them , must be a cheaper rod. For cranks it probably would be OK but I wouldn't bid too high for them especially for fiberglass. JMHO Sorry I know this wasn't much help.
