  2. Screw this reel, the new "Chronado" looks too tight.
  3. I was so pumPed he got one haha. He really liked you man. We gotta get a real fish on Monday.
  4. I think it's a Curado/Chronarch mix, hopefully around the $200 range. One sexy reel. We'll have to get a few buddy.

  6. Got out of school today and met up with hookingem to do a little pond hopping. My brother said he wanted to roll with, so we headed out! I was excited to get my brother on a nice four pounder, which is awesome! He doesn't fish with me much, but has in the past and knows a little more than I remembered. I think he had a great time. I would rather watch him catch one of these than catch ten of them myself! I also got a nice little 5 to start out the day with. Fishing was slow and we had to work for the bites, but it payed off. PS- my bro just turned 15. He's 6'5 and 220 lbs. Just a massive freaking kid.

4.2 here, I think I deserve one too. Same languages as AJ, but latin is basically a joke it's so easy.
  8. Wow! I put my Fireline on one combo, feels great. Casts better than PowerPro, hope it holds the color!
  9. Put the livers in a panty-hoe (is that a word?) and it will stay on the hook better. Chicken liver basically immediately gets bit. Live or dead gills are also good.
  10. I want to try the P-Line Halo, it sounds pretty good. Also on the list is P-Line Flouro and AbrazX.
  11. Smalleyez! I told you I was getting the same combo except the 7' MH. Just a great looking combo!
  12. I like a black/blue jig, and any dark plastics.
  13. I would say go with braid, in the long run it will save you a lot of money.
  14. I would say a St. Croix Avid AVS70MF, unless he wants another UL. He will be very impressed with the sensitivity.
  15. I just bought some Fireline, $20 for 300 yds! Not bad, and it's a lot rounder than PowerPro.
  16. Oh god, now that picture is going to be seen around here alot more.
  17. What happened?
  18. Is this the same reel just two seperate markets? I think the Aldy is the coolest looking reel ever made, and I kind of want to buy one at the end of this summer. If it's the same reel, I'll probably just pass.
  19. Well, it depends...
  20. I'm excited about them Woody. I've heard a lot of people compare them to the older Chronarch's and some have said they're as good as an STX.
  21. You definitely want a MH for plastics.
  22. How do these reels compare to Curados? I like the look of the carbon fiber handle, weight is definitely an improvement. I'm going to buy two and wanted to hear from you all!
  23. This summer I will be bringing three setups; all of which are for plastics and jigs. Lew's TP/Dobyns Savvy 734c/ 50# PowerPro- big plastics Lew's TP/Daiwa Zillion 704c/70# Samurai- jigs Curado 200e7/Cumara CUC-72MH/50# PowerPro- plastics A medium sized backpack with jigs and plastics, camera, scale.
  24. You can really pitch any soft plastics, so don't limit yourself! I usually pitch a Rage Craw, Hawg, Rooster, or Space Monkey. Most of the time I pitch and flip a jig tipped with a Rage Craw.
