Chris, I'm gonna make an order with you next time I need jigs. Probably soon.
  3. Mr. Parks, you always say "a Big-O thank you" or something along those lines, I would like to extend a Big-O THANK YOU to yourself for making these awesome baits! They're all I throw now. You are the man.
  4. Got to the best pond today for 2 hours of fishing, caught 7 in total, none under three pounds. They were hitting a swim jig with a Rage Craw on the tag end. Love fishing swimjigs! Most of the fish were this size:
  5. Assuming it was with an assault rifle, that's frickin' awesome. Love me some USA.
  6. My all-around goals: Fish some new ponds (already doing it!). Learn to finesse fish (dropshot, shakey head) because all I ever do is flip, pitch, and throw huge plastics! Get out in a boat more. Catch a 25 pound limit in one day. Hookingem and I came very close earlier this year with a ~23 pound bag.
  7. I want to dial in to the art of "big fish hunting". I catch a lot of 3-5 pounders, which are really fun and I feel blessed with every one, but I want to be able to catch a BIG fish on a pretty regular basis. For me, a 5 pounder is a "nice" fish, a 6-8 pounder is a "big" fish, and a 9+ would be a monster.
  8. Nice fish. Is the water there really muddy or are they still deep?

We got in some pretty serious trouble. The golfers were rather irratated.
  10. I got lost second line. That's hard to read. So you like the Allstars? I've held them and they feel like well-built rods.
  11. Maybe something to see the bait, or a bead.
  12. If you're treating yourself, do it right and go with the best you can afford.
  13. Right? I got a scower the other day for saying that they're amazing. That car is a god.
  14. They are different blanks. The Savvy is a little less sensitive, but not much.
  15. With braid, unless your career is depending on fishing or you're just loaded, the Extreme isn't necessary. The Champion is a very good and sensitive rod.
  16. Close combat, whether it be plastics, jigs, or spinnerbaits. A lot of people use them for topwater, too.
  17. Dobyns Champion 735c paired with a Citica 200e.
  18. At least some of them survived. So some good genes are still there. You'll be bafk on it faster than you think.
  19. Rage Lobster, Hawg, Rooster, Thumper, Anaconda. Ol' Monster, Brush Hog, etc.
  20. I bought a rod there once. They sent me two, and never responded to my emails. Definitely felt sketchy.
  21. Got up at 6:50 and headed to the local pond. Threw a Smokin' Rooster on the top for a while, finally got a fish to follow it. I killed the bait and she thumped it. 5 even on the scale, might have been a 6 before the spawn. She was long and skinny, but a very healthy fish. First big girl for me in about two and a half weeks. I have been extremely inpressed with my Champion 735c. It's just the perfect action for big plastics and jigs with heavy braid.
