Setting A Jig
I love sticking a 6 with a jig right in the top of the mouth. Jigs are my favorite way to fish right now. Just use a good braided line and you should be fine. With braid, you really can just do a short, snap hookset.

The Lure Swap to set the record straight.
Ahahahaha. Right.

Expecive Lures, What Do You Guys Think?
I'm really split. I want the best jigs for the lowest price, but now I'm starting to think it might be worth it (or I might just have to) spend more money per jig for the jig that I want. Plastics, there's really just no compromise for me. It's Rage Tail's and Zooms for me. They work the best for me, and I just love them!

We're Still On 'em!
Same here! When that six rolled on the jig I just about lost it!

Asakura "the Winch" Jig
In my search for the perfect jig, I came across these. Anyone using them? The look pretty good. I want a strong, good jig to pitch and flip but I also want to be able to throw it along weedlines in the summer.

We're Still On 'em!
Hookingem and I hit the ponds again today and had another great day despite POURING rains. We were both soaked straight through, but we were catching them, so who cares? Apparently it was "spit or swallow" day for the fishies this morning. AJ hooked two real deep on a little crank, and we both had our fair share of good ones come unbuttoned. I shook a 6+ on a swim jig and AJ did the same on the Mattlures Baby Bass. He also shook a ~5 pounder on a squarebill, and I lost a 4+ on a swim jig again! All together we probably caught about 18-20 between the seven ponds we hit. We got a LOT of 3's today, but no bigger fish wanted to play. Here's a 3.5 AJ got on the Mattlures. I'm only posting this because they're hard to keep on once they bite, and it was pretty exciting to actually land a good one!

Chronarch Worth The Extra $100?
I want one. Bad. Problem is I already have a heavy jig rod! What else could we use it for?

Chronarch Worth The Extra $100?
The $250 is a guess, it might be higher. I might get the Chronarch. It would look sweet on a Champion. On a side note- Anyone used the Cumara 7'4 Heavy Jig Rod yet?
-
Chronarch Worth The Extra $100?
~$250. I might still a Chronarch just to see if I like it. I might put one on my Champion 735c with braid for pitching jigs.

Chronarch Worth The Extra $100?
I can get a Curado NIB for $120, and Chronarch D7's for $220. Is it $100 better than the Curado? Smoother, better at casting?
-
Chronarch Worth The Extra $100?
I can get Curados new for $120 and Chronarchs for $220 new. Is it worth the extra $100? I mean, is it really that much smoother and better at casting?

Which Casts Farther, Revo Or Curado?
Thank you! I must just set my reel extremely loose. I can really launch a swimjig with my Cumara.

Jigs
Jig fishing can be so effective. It's really a bait that you can fish year-round. Just keep throwing it and eventually you will get one and your confidence will build from there. When I throw a jig, I might not catch as MANY fish as say a worm or spinnerbait, but the fish I catch on average will be about 1-2 pounds heavier. Read a bunch of articles and you will learn a lot. The most important thing is to just keep fishing it. Jig fishing is probably the most difficult thing in bass fishing to learn, but the payoff is awesome!

Best Weedless Jig For Pitching Into Weeds?
Yep, they don't do too well in slop, but work great in grass.

Brush Hog Does Topwater = ?
Forgot to mention, Rage Shad would be your best best.

Shimano Citica Vs. W And M Victory
Never even held the Wright and Mcgill, but I would still recommend the Citica!
