  1. I buy what I like. The definition of "I like" is: 1. feels good in my hands 2. works very well 3. looks good 4. good warranty/support 5. I can afford it and still pay my mortgage
  2. I expect to see a Steez replace that Core50 on his G.Loomis MBR842.
  3. My P-Line Spectrex Braid doesn't loose any color. I was about to try PP but now I think Im going to try Daiwa Samurai Braid, its pricey but highly recommended by a lot of people.

  10. MBR843 GLX 7' MedHvyFast
  11. A real hitch is attached to the vehicle frame with heavy duty hardware, the bumper is attached to the vehicle using the cheesy bumper brackets and design to absorb impact not be pulled on so you just have to ask yourself, do you want to risk your bass boat by saving a few dollars and not getting a proper hitch?
  12. Big O, you ARE the man !
  13. Not much more exciting than a bass bustin a frog.
  14. congrats, looks like you have a nice pond to fish.

  16. I agree, something like this $80 6'6" MH BPS combo will get you started: Bass Pro Shops® Tourney Special® Baitcast Rod and Reel Combo http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_104163_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1 Even with some braid line you will still be within your budget. -steezy
  17. WHY you just have to turn the handle slower? 7.x reels are great for just about everything except swimbaits and deep cranks.
  18. G.Loomis MBR842 GLX MF Daiwa Steez - SVF MHF,FleXlite MR,CompileX HF
  19. Daiwa Steez CompileX 6'8" Med-Light-Fast 8-)
  20. I wish Bantam1 (the shimano rep) was here to chime in, I'd really like to get his opinion on this bizzare problem. Its hard to believe that many breaks in such a sort time by 2 people. This has got to be something to do with how the rod is being handled.
  21. No reason to limit its use to lighter/finesse applications, dont let the reel size and weight fool you, it can handle heavier use.
