  1. I started out fishing yesterday and noticed the bite was hott and they were BIG!! Both my buddies started landing 4 and 5 lbers like it was no big deal. Me on the other hand was struck with bad luck. I hooked up on most the fish that bit my senko, but about 1/4 landed in the boat. The fish would spitting the hook or just getting off under the water very easily. This kind of thing has never been a problem so am pretty confused. I lost the biggest fish of my life today so I really need to figure out whats going on. I believe it is my hooks but any suggestions will help thanks. Setup: Rod- 7' MH Fenwick Eagle GT Reel- Shimano Symetre Drag- Somewhat tight but still able to pull. Bait- GY Senko/Zoom Trick Worm Hooks- 3/0 Gamakatsu EWG hook

  14. I am about to purchase a Cabelas Gold Label spinning rod for dropshotting. Out of the rods in this link what should i go with? 7' Light power? I generally like to use 6'6" but if the 7' is better for this technique I will go with this one. Thanks, VC http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?id=0066934123918a&navCount=1&podId=0066934&parentId=cat21428&masterpathid=&navAction=jump&cmCat=MainCatcat21404-cat21406-cat21428_TGP&catalogCode=9IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat21428&hasJS=true
  15. x2 GO TWINS!
  16. I have a 7' MH Fenwick HMG with a Shimano Curado for my crankbait rod. I know this is a little out of your price range but the best setup i have ever owned and i have only fished it for a week now! For my worm rod i have both a 6'6" MH and a 7' MH. It just comes down to what feels better in your hand. Personally i like my 6'6" better. Try the Fenwick Eagle GT for only $59. Fenwicks are amazing rods with great sensitivity and they are built to last for years.
  17. Rapala x-rap It might be the color i am using but i cannot get a hit to save my life on this bait
  18. I own a lot of the lake fork craw tubes and they are one of my go to baits. These look almost identical. GO FOR IT!!
