I just spooled my line up with Yo-Zuri Hybrid ultra soft and went to cast and i got backlashes almost every time. I havent adjusted anything on the reel besides the side knob that measures the weight of what your throwing.....can someone help me out so i can get the longest casts with out getting birds nests? O yea i always stick with those colors but on TW there are so many variations to each color its crazy! So yea i was just wondering what specific natural color has produced the most Thanks, VC

Fenwick Eagle GT Has far as the reel i wouldn't skim on price. If your really serious about fishing you need to invest a little bit more money to get a Shimano Curado. This will help out a lot with back lashing which is a problem with a lot of beginning anglers.

i just fish anything natural. This is the lure i use the most. The white belly gives it the most natural look. I also like to use a light shade of chartreuse when the bite is hard to come by.

Whether i am pitching into cover or using ribbit frogs on topwater i always use my 7'6" H Fast action rod. I also use braid. This will allow for you to almost never lose a fish by him getting caught up and that H rod will allow for you to easily horse him out no matter how big he is

This is going to get moved, but like my signature says i always stick with four colors of jigs: Natural green/brown, Natural green/brown with a flash of a bright color, Black, and Black/Blue 90% of the time i use the natural green or brown. When it comes to sizes i like to use a very light 1/16 oz finesse jig when there is no wind and it just flutters to the bottom. I like to flip these jigs by the docks and cover. I use the heavier jigs when there is windier conditions or i am fishing a deeper area and i need to get the jig down there quickly As far as trailer i only use two different trailors. Paca chunks/tiny paca craws and Zoom chunks Hope this helps! BTW always remember to match the size of your jig with your trailer make sure they are similar in size

I would never spend that much on a lure especially because the Rapala skitter pop is IMO the best topwater lure.

Good work dude. Once you start catching them more you will gain different techniques that will help you put more and more into the boat.

He uses some type of weight that goes up into the tube where it lets you T-Rig it without a bullet weight. Does anyone know where i could these? Hopefully i can get them at local store (cabelas, GM, or Dicks) Thanks, VC
