It's simple. Instead of putting the hook point in and out of the worm right away put the hook in and run it down about 2 inches and then out. Got it?

I might be misunderstanding the term flipping, but i am just making short underhand tosses. Either way i am getting back lashed with light finesse baits That's pitching. Try tightening the spool tension then slowly loosen it so the jig falls reasonably fast, then try engaging two+ brakes. The Curado is a great at handling light baits. Yea i have 4 brakes engaged and the tension so it falls at a good rate. IDK whats going on i guess i just have to practice more.

T- tig them but instead of a normal position for the hook put it further down the worm so you get fluttering action on both ends. Its deadly

I have always used spinning reels for flippin finesse jigs and worms. I got a Curado recently and i have been fine with throwing heavier baits but i started flippin my smaller tackle today and got birds nests every other throw. What setting and tips do you have for me to get the best results and not so much frustration!!!

I wouldnt ever buy a bait just because it says they glow. There really isnt a use for a glowing bait it is only a tactic for the companies to make a little money off of you.

Do they have them at Cabelas? Any other retail store?

Exactly. I have a curado on my jig rod and couldnt ask for a better reel in that situation

YZ US isn't fluorocarbon. I was under the impression that it was...Is a considered a combo of flouro and mono hence the hybrid?

I bought one half off as well. I love the sensitivity and how it feels! I guess i am the opposite of Nine Miler Overall its just a great rod for $50, but again if i was in the $100 i would go with a fenwick
