  1. Those are some really nice looking baits!
  2. I pretty much stick to the ECS with trimmed threads. I find both the Pac Bay and Fuji 2 piece seats to be hit or miss, I think blank diameter plays a roll in how comfortable they are. I'm not a big fan of the ACS but I think they are the best looking, especially painted. I actually haven't tried any of the Alps seats but I plan to try the MVT on a build.
  3. I need to have a good tournament. I picked Martens, Davis, Pipkens, Remitz and Hawk, hopefully they won't kill me this week.
  4. I haven't really learned anything but a couple of things were re-confirmed. The preseason is entirely too long and if Romo misses any significant time, the Cowboys are done. Oh, and Randy Gregory is going to be a stud if he can keep his nose clean.
  5. Thanks for sharing.
  6. There is absolutely no reason to use a swivel with a crankbait. You should take all the split rings off of all your baits if you plan to use a snap. They aren't meant to be attached to split rings. Also, you still need to check your line often and retie when needed to keep your line fresh.
  7. I use a MH rod for weightless Senkos and Flukes, doesn't really matter what reel. If you want to cast light stuff, a ML would be a better choice.
  8. That was just payback for stealing Dez from me in the 3rd.
  9. I'm sure I'm going to regret not taking Peterson. lol
  10. It's going to be a lot of fun. We all have good teams and there will be some good players show up on waivers due to the short benches.

I just logged in to watch the weigh in but Chris Jones and Byron Velvick are interviewing the top 10. They need to just get on with it.
  12. A lot of these guys will run to Erie for giant smallies. The risk is not being able to make the long run back in rough water, (cost A-Mart the win here in 2013.) Some guys will go for largemouth on St. Clair too.
  13. Rage Craws twin tail grubs Super Speed Craws Ultra Vibe Speed Craws Pit Boss Just to name a few.
  14. I feel like Chatterbaits/bladed jigs are still about as hot as they ever were. A lot of major tournaments are won with them, including Aaron Martens, in part, on the Chesapeake Bay last week.
  15. That sounds like it could be a cool feature to play with.
  16. Other than being disgusting, I don't think maggots can hurt you. Put on some rubber gloves and get the water hose out. Why did you put salt into your tacklebox?
  17. Oh yeah, I've tried them all. Cavitrons and Pip Squeaks are the ones I carry now, I even still use them some. One of these days it will pay off.
  18. Oddly enough, it's the buzzbait for me. I have never caught a bass on a buzzbait and I have been fishing them off and on for 25 years.

    Their website is the worst.
  20. Man, that sounds awfully light for a frog rod. It would probably be ok for open water but not really what I would consider a frogging blank.
  21. You almost feel like an expert going into your second rod when you consider how much you learned on the first one. Nice work.
  22. Nice, that new *** looks 1000% better than the first one.
  23. This is what I would be looking for.
