  1. d**n, my tie turned into a 2 point loss. I left way too many points on my bench too. Eddy Lacy going out killed me.
  2. I have a package enroute now from my good friends at I Love Hard Bait. My favorite eBay store.

I think they are going to miss him a lot, especially now.
  4. I don't think a snap is any more or less sensitive than a split ring but it almost has to be less sensitive than a knot. It's probably a pretty miniscule amount though.

It's going to be tough. The good thing is they won their first 2 games and the rest of the NFC East looks terrible. Also, the defense was outstanding yesterday and will get stronger when McClain and Hardy come back in 2 weeks. I had forgotten what a badass Sean Lee is, he missed all season last year with a knee injury. He's back with a vengeance now. Weeden isn't very good though, it's going to be tough to score I'm afraid.
  6. Lucky Craft is my hard bait of choice. I use them more than anything else. They have recently dropped some of their prices which makes them even more attractive. I like Megabass and Duo Realis as well. Check out the Lucky Craft LC and RTO series for square bills and Pointers for jerkbaits. No jerkbait collection is complete without a couple of Megabass 110's too. Some of these baits aren't technically JDM as they are made for the US market but they are still Japanese companies.
  7. It's never crossed my mind before, probably because I don't use snaps. When you think about it though, it seems like it definitely could cost you some sensitivity in some cases. I doubt many people use snaps on most slow moving jigheads or directly to a hook. I wouldn't think it would matter as much with moving baits.
  8. I use a 7+ on all soft plastic and jig rods but I'm honestly not sure that it makes that much difference in my catch rate.
  9. I'm hearing closer to 10 weeks, probably for both. Who knows though.
  10. I'll take a W however I can get it!
  11. I'm sorry to say but it's going to be more than a couple of games. I don't trust Weeden at all. They can survive without Dez but without Romo, it could get really ugly. I hope the defense can stay healthy and win a couple of games.
  12. Order directly from GYCB.
  13. War Eagle makes great spinnerbaits. Mostly what I use.
  14. My thoughts exactly. I've sold off every non Daiwa or Shimano reel I owned.
  15. I doubt he paid for anything you see in that picture, not even the rain suit.
  16. I thought Booyah was picking up the Zell Pop. I agree with you though, Zell Pops are probably just as good as Yellow Magics and Ricos for about half the price.
  17. I favor Yellow Magics, Splash-Its and Rico's.
  18. I hope I have 1 more really good week. I don't think there's anyway I can win but I hope I can finish higher than I am now. I went with: Martens Pirch Lester Pipkens Swindle
  19. Real Prey swimbaits might have what you're looking for.
  20. Well, it will be 3" shorter and 1 power heavier. It should be great for more accurate casting and have the power to fish around grass and get good hook sets with a big, single hook.
  21. The OP didn't ask about the A series. I doubt any of the H powered rods would be very good for 1.5 oz lures and I doubt the MH would be very good for the 8" Hudd. I have the 7'6" H but never tried to throw anything that light.
  22. For sure, this week was bad. Hopefully it was just one of those weeks and it isn't as bad as it looks. It would be nice to get more than 1 point from my QB. lol
  23. Thanks, yeah I read the review. I'm probably going to order one, doesn't sound like I can go wrong.
  24. Daiwa is now in control of Evergreen's US distribution. That's why new baits are popping up and the prices are lower. I'm anxious to see what else they release here.
  25. The 7'11" H was designed for throwing hard baits and has a more moderate action. The 7'6" H is faster and better suited to 8" Hudds. Per the rod designer.
