  1. Also carrington. What part of chesterfield are you from. I live in the chesterfield area and am wondering what lakes you fish.
  2. I have haven't had many bites lately, but the ones that I have had have been from presenting tube baits and senkos slowly. I hear this a lot, but i feel that it is true...If you think you are fishing it slow enough slow down even more.
  3. Wasn't the bass caught in Japan confirmed and is now tied for the world record because it wasn't 2oz larger?
  4. I have a new favorite angler. I can't wait for him to make a cut.

Nice fish! I can't seem to get any bites where I am. It is way to cold...it saddens me.
  7. I am looking into getting a new reel, and I was wondering which reel you prefer. I realize that both of these reels are very similar in price and according to some places that I have read similar in performance. So I was wondering what the people on the boards thought was the better reel.
  8. What type of presentation would you use for a single tail grub?
  9. Also, Would you fish it weightless, T-rigged, or with a jig head?
  10. What is the best way to work a twin tail in a river system? Where would be a good place to fish? Thanks
  11. I have read all of these even though I think it would be pretty impossible to grow smallies in a dorm room, but I have really enjoyed reading these articles. Good Job.
  12. Hey guys, I went smallmouth fishing for the first time today on the New River near Blacksburg, VA. I didn't catch anything, but then again I didn't expect to. With wind chill I think it was something like 17 when we got out there. It was the first time I have had my guides freeze while fishing. But, my real question pertains to tube fishing. I believe the bottom of the river was rocky. When the tube is on the bottom bouncing around with the current does it feel like little bites. I was thinking that it was going into little cracks in the the rocks and just feeling like little bites, but sometime it felt like a pretty hefty tug. Any ideas or knowledge from experience would help. Thanks guys
  13. I did a search for this...so sorry if it has been done before. I was wondering if when you are fishing an ultralight setup do you use smaller lures and baits or just the same size. What are some of your favorite UL baits?
  14. That thing sure has a huge head on it! Id like to see that bad boy in the spring!

  16. What are your favorite tube baits for fishing river smallmouths? And what is your favorite jig head to use with your tube baits? Any other info about good smallmouth baits would be helpful!!
  17. Everyone is really friendly at mine, always asking if i've gotten any bites. I found mine through a friend who was golfing and saw a bunch of surface breaks and took me there one afternoon.
  18. What is you favorite type of line (mono, flouro, braid) to use when you throw a weightless senko or other types of plastics? Also, what size line do you use?
  19. Look in the fishing articles section of the website (top left corner of the website). It really helps me when i try to learn a new bait!! This sight taught me how to throw almost everything in my tackle box.
