He got me earlier this week for a Tackle Warehouse order. Looks like I will be making my own skirts and fishing a lot of swimbaits.

I can't wait to hit the water over spring break. I don't even care if it is just casting practice it will be nice to get outdoors and relax.

I use the double uni and havent had any problems as of yet.

Well I would want cranks that would cover a whole wide range of depths. Some Norman DD's for the deep stuff and since you said you wanted some Lucky Crafts I would pick up some that fit the sizes in between Soft plastics I would pick up Tubes Senko Fat Ika Shakey worms Top Water I would defiantly pick up some Poppers your favorite brand. I would pick up some Zara spooks, and a couple of buzz Baits. Im not much of a jig fisherman so I cant really help you there I would get an array of color and weight ranging from 1/2 to 1 ounce. T2 are my favorite brand.

What do you think of spiral wrap rods. I just heard about them recently and was wondering whether it was better or worse design then the normal wrapping. What are the advantages of a spiral wrapped rod?

I watched something about this one time. If you think about it it makes sense, because is a straight shank hook and an offset hook the hook point is not in line with the eye. And if you look at your EWG hooks the eye and the hook point are in line. With all of that said I will still you EWG because I dont really think it makes that much of a difference, and I dont see myself changing anytime soon...

I have a 7 foot medium fast rod that I use for throwing weightless senko and it seems to work just fine for me.

If you decide to sell it I might be interested.

This year I am trying to use sweet beavers, Shakey heads, and jig in the upcoming year.

So I have tried to find a lake to fish these last few days. I am a bank beater, and I have been to 5 different lakes in the past 2 days all of them are frozen over. I have never seen a lake frozen over in my area in all of my life. I realize I have not been looking all of my life, but it is now really bothering me. I don't know what I am going to go for the next month or two. Sorry I just had to vent. Tight Lines for those of you who can fish, and for those of you who can't like myself I hope the spawn comes soon.

Does the line size on the rod refer to breaking strength or line diameter?
