I've watched about 2 full episodes of Whale Wars on Animal Planet, and I can't figure out what those bottles contain. I know buratic acid is inside, but what are the effects to the receiving end of one of those? And how badass is that show?

Thanks, raul. That shows how much I know about fly fishing. I had no idea you could even target bass with one, thought it was mainly used for trout. I thought I had a ground breaking idea!! Lol!

I just inherited an old fly rod from my younger brother. Its a south bend 8' rod. You guys think I could use it for some top water action in a shallow slow moving river?

how many times a day do you start off a comment, or conversation with your wife, girlfriend, buddy, anybody really with "today on the forum..." mine is about 6. on a good day is 12.

To make a comment and not make it about myself; You gotta weigh your options. More fish, or the comerodery (sp?) I would split it up some, half and half, or lean it more to one or the other. I've noticed making and keeping friends as an adult is much harder than as a teenager- cherish the ones you got. Even if they steal your fish!

I saw a guy on the flea market section that had a binder full of plastics. I thought that was a good idea. I just keep them all in the originals, takes up some space but doesn't bother me too much, I don't have that much stuff anyways.
