i cant go out and not loose something. usually spinners, but ALWAYS jigs. i guess its part of the game... x2 on the lure saver. i just use a paper clip and a 4 oz weight. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. i never buy premium tackle though. but who knows, maybe if i do i wont loose so much! tight lines, but not too tight..

apologies not needy, steezy. i'm grateful for everything i have, and hopefully can have a house on a lake with a boat and all the tackle and gear i shall choose. no offense taken here.

The Caffeine shads are great! Probably my favorite bait of the product line. Weighted 5/0 EWG 1/16 oz or 1/8 oz in the rivers is lethal, or if they are in the shallow, just an unweighted 5/0 hook. BTW, I love the smell of these baits, almost tempted to eat one dont lie, hammer, youve taken a bite...

i ran over my good set up about a month ago with my car. i'm dead *** broke and my anniversery is coming up and wanted to know which is more important to have? money is tight, and i truly dont want to spend more than $100, so my question is: if you had UP TO $100 to spend on a rod, or a reel, and paired with a decent >$50 opposite. if you have old stuff you wouldnt mind getting rid of for around this, please PM. NOTE:i am not asking to freebies: i will pay.

no its not my first smallie, just the first one with actually any size. i would be too embarrassed to say any of my other fish as a PB.

So i hit a local river yesterday, and fished a spot i've never hit before and had much success. On my first cast i caught a dink LMB, second cast a missed fish with a big bite. I saw a pretty big fish near the surface of the water about 30 feet out and casted over top of it and let the worm fall slowly. I twitched my wrist and i felt like i got stuck on a log. Damnit. then the log started to swim and jump, and after about a 1 minute fight i had her in my hands. i dont know what the weight was, maybe one of you might, but its the biggest small mouth i've caught so far. i was thinking maybe 1.5 lbs? i have no idea though. probably about 14-16 inches...?

Congrats. Helluva catch.

Google "dottie the bass" then go to that lake. She was 25 pounds and was going to break the world record put was foul hooked. The anglers released the fish and shortly after was found belly up. Its in So. Cal.
