  1. nice fish dude..
  2. Haha, I didn't even see steezy's post. That is if they choose to do this.
  3. I think it would work with a small group of people. No more than 15 or so. I'm no long time poster, but I can say with the most confidence that the members Muddy, sharkbite, ghoti and steezy would "pay it forward" and know that from personal experiences with them. Another way to tell if possible is check the flea market section, if a guy is going to ship stuff out within a reasonable time frame, they'd more than likely go along the rules to this. I'm down.
  4. Thanks man. Same spots? And how can I tell a depth change, I'm shorebound. Have some waders, but sometime the current is too strong. You ever fish the rap? Let's slam some smallies, bro.
  5. All times. Mornings, afternoon, and early evening. I've been throwing it all, buzzbaits and spinners in AM, once the sun gets up and hits the water I've been using various soft plastics, mepps and roostertail.. Etc. I know it may be just because its hotter than hell, but I'd still like to expand my spots. I've been mainly fishing primarily up and down the river on fall hill ave.
  6. I have used up all the spots i usually fish on the Rap and have been skunked the past 3 times ive been out. Can anybody help me out with some spots around the Fredericksburg area?
  7. I don't know what you guys are talking about.. There is a best, and it happens to be the one I use most often. A 4" GYCB D/T grub. Kidding about the best, just produces in the waters I fish.
  8. When I first started fishng and knew even less than I did now I paired it up with an unusual bait. A 4"GYCB double tail grub. I was mildly successful, nothing of size. I'm gonna pick up some shakey finesse worms now.
  9. Here's my girl Niki, niklas backstrom, nik, trouble, nado (tornado).. She has many names, and responds to nearly all. I got her from a high kil shelter and had absolutley no intention of getting a dog that day, but I saw her and couldn't pass her up. She's a german shepard mix, with not much of a mix, and a 1 year old nightmare. She also doubles as my fishing buddy, and most the time my fish spoiler. When thinking of a new dog, please adopt, and not to sound like bob barker- but please spay an nueter.

  11. nice fish, steez. you've inspired me to give it a shot!
  12. NewAngler replied to Koop's topic in Hunting Forum
While shopping for our last dog we were inbetween a poodle, labradoodle and german shepard. We ended up with an adopted german mix. She's about a year now, and would like to get her trained for duck hunting.. Any suggestions on where to start, koopa?
  13. Great job, dude. I still haven't had any success with a jig. I don't really throw them much cuz I ALWAYS loose them. And today is my wifes birthday, I asked Lwhat do you wanna do today." She says,"I wanna go fishing, and catch a small mouth!"
  14. This guy is a joke, for sure. I had the most respect for him when he hung his hat up the first time. And even the second time, even sort of rooted him with the jets-- now his on his once hated rival, I cannot root, respect or watch this fella.
  15. Riding a 4 wheeler drunk might be the dumbest thing I've heard of. Next to the dallas cowboys.jmo. probably more to agree. Stay safe, bro.
  16. Binders, like koopa I find are the best.
  17. I just picked this up for my set up. I have a BC but picked chose the 8# test... Is that not enough you guys think?
  18. Bobbers, small grubs on a jig head, they'll catch bluegill all day. Smaller hooks, and then the spinners.. Kids (at least mine) love the spinners. But at 12 the attention span is longer so I don't think its too young to to start teaching him bass fundamentals.
  19. x2- thats what i was gonna say. secondly, I agree with most- stay at home with your wife. family is seriously the most important thing in life. not a new truck, not a new bass boat, and not even the best of the best fishing gear. it would take a lot more than that to make me not sleep in my bed everynight.
  20. nice fish, i have some inlaws about 2 hours from there. Next trip we go down you can bet your bottom dollar i'll be there.
  21. bobber fishing; "so easy a caveman can do it"
  22. dude, i would go with lunga. from what i understand burke lake has a lot of pressue, and accotink is pretty shallow. i would def go with lunga, its about 1,000 acres i believe, which is a lot bigger than either of the other two. which could be good, could be bad as well.
  23. I'll take a line from another member on here "Rooster for the win!!"
  24. is one better than the other, change any of the power or action?
  25. when it comes to wacky rigging, you gotta liten to wayne p. he's the wacky expert!
