  1. Topwater. Unless I'm throwing a swimbait. I just don't trust it, so I use a snap. When tossing a 5 oz bait, a snap won't change anything.
  2. No. He's just upgrading his Citica.
  3. I kind you not. Hail.
  4. No chance I'm reading 3 pages. Don't you guys think that the lion, for crying out loud, has a pretty flawless hunt-kill-eat method.? I think if the king of the jungle passes this up as a meal, in a sober state i would decline. After a Redskins loss and completely inilated, game on.
  5. I've been killing numbers at Curtis lately at low light. That places needs harvesting. I hit up the beach from tome to time. A lot less since I moved off poplar rd. Fish frogs all over and hit that channel at low tide. I list a stud on a crappy hookset two weeks ago. I've been throwing swimbaits about 90% the time unless I'm fishing Curtis. Hit me up next time you get to Curtis. I'm 2 miles away. Your avatar picture from aquia?
  6. Whoop. And oh yea, uncle Leo is the man. Where do you fish, clary?
  7. Well... after a forced, yet understandable hiatus, I'm back to run a muck on here. Sorry to you fine members of bass resource that have missed out on my insight and smartass remarks. I'm back, giving YOU, the reader, what you deserve.
  8. In. Just got a swarm of cranks to try out.
  9. ha. for sure. Hellofa fish!!
  10. Hudd. 6 is a good start. Can be found at any rate if fall. Bbz_1 is a decent lil guy as wrll as the Tru tungsten Tru life series.
  11. The cardiff is a great reel. Have the 300 on both my swimbait rods, and you'd hard time to convince me to use anything else. I can't. omment of the rod, but if you wanted to save some money, check out the Diawa heartland or Diawa light and tough. Good luck.
  12. Troy, thats awesome your wife has the same "big bait, big fish" mentality you do. Just wait until your kid (daughter, right) comes and is old enough to tote along. You'll be watching your kid, and she will be fishing. Its almost, if not more excited seeing her catch one. I've yet to catch a snakehead, but she's got a nice 6 lber to her name. She does not rub it in, throw it in my face, but yet somehow has a cocky strut when we go to the spot we caught it. Cowgirl, thats a good idea. I didn't think about that. Most of our fishing together happens about every other week when we can drop the girls off at my parents. However, when we go together she fishes about 70% of the time, and I'm chasing kids and trying them no to "disturb mommy's water."
  13. d**n, 12 lbs. 3 fish, nice. But 20 boats? I was in war birds at 3 pm and only 4 were signed up. What was big fish?
  14. They're as big as my hand! Aaron, war birds carries them, so you can check them out locally.
  15. Isn't the Atkins diet, aka the mans diet very unhealthy?
  16. Hey Matt, PM Member: Dan: he has a great fist togill plate ratio. He says its pretty accurate.
  17. Yea it offers a ton of shade, shallow to deep water, few laydowns. A lot of "fishy" stuff.
  18. too late, but I hope you hit the cove directly across from the launch.
  19. I think I made a royal mistake. I got my wife hooked, I mean HOOKED on fishing. Now, it's a good thing and a bad thing all at once. Hear me out. The Good: -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Get to spend time with the woman I love, doing the thing I love. -Experiencing her catch fish is.. well.. pretty friggen cool. The bad. - More money. She fishes wrong handed reels. - More money. She now realizes she can't do it all with one setup. - We have young kids, so it's hard to get a sitter as often as we'd like. - When we take the kids to a local, family spot, I seem to have my rod retired for the day (not that bad, actually. Seeing her catch one is ALMOST as good as me catching one. Neutral.) - She may know more about fishing in 3 months than I do. I will be asking her for advice. - Did I mention it costs a little more, speak of getting her a kayak have now come to the table. In summary, its a great thing that she digs it as much as I do. I just know my PB will soon be surpassed by me giving her "the spot". ah, oh well.
