  5. Looking at: Kistler Argon Flip n' Pitch 7'1" Heavy or Crucial 7'2 EH/EF Looking to find the ideal frogging / flipping rod. Just curious on everyone's thoughts on this. I have a Powell 683c I will be matching it with.
  6. I'm looking for a good skirt color theme to resemble yellow perch, anyone know of any skirts in this theme that are sold or recommend a good color pattern for yellow perch?

    thats kind of neat
  8. Powell 683c. Good for top water and everything else.
  9. Yeah I agree, Reggie was my favorite player of all time. Jerry Rice, Barry Sanders, Emmit Smith, Favre of course, walter payton are all among the greatest in my mind.
  10. It's playing here also I was debating on going to see it.

Yeah I've only heard the lead belly version, I like it. Going to have to try to find the older version now.

  13. Very nice fish, do they taste like any normal bass or do stripers have a different taste to them?
  14. There is a time for both, I like to fish alone and I like to fish with friends, just depends on the situation.

Sounds like a blast! Wish I had someone to teach me when I was little. His brother will be envious for sure!

That's a nice looking taco! I've always wanted a 2500 first but my second choice has always been the taco.
  18. Surprised I haven't seen anyone mention Reggie White
  19. My dad actually got me into golfing when I was about 6... I played for about 16 years, played in High school, won several state titles played on the USMC team. Got burnt out very quickly, was a scratch player for a long time. Just don't have the want to pursue it anymore. I played like I was going to try to make the tour, once I realized that was a pipe dream and more about who you know or who your family has connections to I became disgruntled with golf. Still play for fun on occasion but not nearly as regularly as I used to. I'd rather fish.

Anyone in these areas going to pickwick for the road trip next spring?
  23. Owner 3/O wide gap plus (my personal favorite) I agree with RW... you spend 4-8 bucks a pop on cranks... 20-50 bucks a pop on swim baits... hundreds on reels and rods... I'd prefer a hook that I have confidence that everyone I pull out will be quality.
  24. I use a black on black cavitron buzzbait at dawn, dusk, night and overcast days. Even if you dont catch anything on it you can see swirls in its wake a lot of times, then follow up with a finesse set up.
