Touranament Winnings and Taxes
I could of swore it was $1000. But anyway if you don't get a 1099 misc from them, don't worry about it. And make sure you deduct any expenses you incurred in winning that money (and only that money). I bowl in tournaments, and our team took first place ans we won $5000 ($1000 each for 5 guys), and I did get a 1099...and was allowed to deduct the entrance fee, I did not have any other receipts.

Non-boater Tackle Bag questions
I have a Cabelas bag no model on it. It hold 4 3600's on the outside compartments. On the inside I have 3 3600's and a whole buch of tacle wrap/bags. Still have room for a gatorade and some snacks. I have been a rider since 1987 and have never had an owner complain. My bag goes under my feet or under the passenger console. My rain gear goes in a compartment (if taken). My lunch goes in the boats cooler if avalible if not I drink warm gatorade that has been stored in a dry storage hatch. With all due respect to Roadwarrior...don't buy into the worm binder thing. You never know what the fish are hitting on. If I had a nickel for everytime I was on the water and said to myself, "Thank God I didn't throw this outa my bag." I could retire. This holds especially true with soft plastic colors. As a rider you don't have the luxury to prefish or practice a lake. So you need to rely on past tourneys or days on the lake to gear up. And what worked the last 2 years may not work today.

In the market for a couple of new reels.
Pro Q's are good for the money. A Revo S is nice for around $130. Browning Citori is a good buy too and get high remarks.

Which rods to go with?
I can only offer hear say. The Mojo's are not they were cracked up to be...a bit heavy/clumsy. The Vendettas seem OK with mostly good reviews. But no one has ever said a bad thing about a Falcon Rod. Also conisder (in that price range) a BPS Extreme or a St Croix Premier. I know you may laugh at the Extreme...but I have a good friend who is fanatical about buying top end stuff...and he opts for Extreme rods. Like I said it's here say except for those recommendations. I have both and find them a good bang fo rthe buck.

what is your favorite wacky worm
Jersey rig worm with a size 1 hook. watermellon or junebug.
-
hey guys what hook size for wacky worms
owner mosquitos hooks...Size 1 for 3" baits and aize 1/0 for 4" baits. Too big of a hook make the bait fall too fast IMO.

pro qualifier rain suit
I have a BPS HPR suit...which I am very happy with. It's not too heavy for summer t-storms.

upper and lower end of lake
Could also mean the north or south ends. Or in a lake with one common launching area...upper means farthest from the launch.

Anti virus suggestions
I just got cyberdefender...it's inexpensinve and was ranked #1 in many publications. I had trouble installing it and called the tech number...got a real person, quickly, and led me step by step to get the job done. I also paid extra for one month of premeir service, cause I had a deep down bug' and they logged on to my computer and worked for about an hour and go ti tall straightened out. Good product and first class service and tech support.

Football Head Jigs
I like to throw my paca craws on them. Weedless...it makes the legs stand up in the water like a scared crawfish.

So whats up with Chartreuse
I read an article in Bassmaster many many many years ago (like the early 80's), that said purple or grape and chartruse are the colors bass see the easiest.

Anyone fish Candlewood ?
Candlewood is a awsome fishery. Atleast it was when we fished it 5 years ago. 5 fish for 15+ is not uncommon. I have some great spots there unfortunately I can't put you on them without a map. Gitzits, crawfish cranks, jerkbaits and worms seem to be my best lures.

What size hook to use when Wacky rigging Stick baits
Now we don't fish for huge fish... so 2/0-3/0 seems very big to me. I use a size 1 or a 1/0 (rarely) mosquito hook.

I need A New Spinning Rod=Which Of These 3 ?
I wouldn't touch anything with the BPS name on it,reels included.BPS stuff is all made in China. The Mojo's are decent rods,MADE IN USA, a bit ill balanced but thats to be expected at the price point. It has the Fuji Reel Seat, but not Fuji guides,Batson I believe. The BuCoo has EVA grips which I don't personally like, but thats subjective, and is also MADE IN USA.Probably an Aluminum Oxide Fuji Guide. St. Croix of course is a good company,so is Falcon,,kind of a toss up,one is probably no better than the other. As far as the BPS comment...don't listen to it. All the "upper" BPS products are very good. Some made buy Pflueger. The Johhny Morris, Pro Qualifier, and Extreme lines seem to be good stuff.

how to catch bass on beds
This is a very good point. I know I will catch flack for this...but I am very against bed fishing. Here in PA and most surrounding states the season in closed during the spawn, so we don't need to worry about it. And there are more bass down south I'm sure, and the fish and game are not worried about this, the season would be closed there too. 1 out of every 10,000 eggs makes it to a breeding age. This is a figure that is if the male/female are protecting the eggs and fry without human involvement. And yes there are schols of panfish just waiting out of your field of view th ravage that nest. Now I go to lake anna every spring during the spawn time...usually prespawn. Do I bank fish...sure, do I target a bedding bass...no. But, the next boat does, so it is for my own piece of mind. Fro what it's worth, I have a degree in Fisheries Biology.

Rip Rap Fishing
all good ideas. i feel that rip rap fish tend to be a more feeding oriented fish, so i would include spinnerbaits and top waters. don't forget about adjacent or near by deep water structure...relate to the feeding aspect.

Anyone play online poker?
I used to play a little...my ex wife put us in "rough shape" with her addiction to it. My advice to you is becareful and mind how much you spend. Back when I played you needed to be wary of "boiler rooms". Which are tables that one player plays multiple or all of the hands but yours. Sometimes buddies will play together and talk on the phone or in chatrooms about what they have. It's a big set up/rip off.

Need Opionions: Fishing lipless crankbaits
I have found that lipless cranks get thrown by the fish much easier than billed cranks. So, I always throw them on a nice spongey fiberglass crankbait rod.

Purple Plastics
This is what I was told...Grape\Purple are one of the easiest sen colors by bass (along with chartruse). That being said...I still throw june bug on a sunny day. As far as a staight purple I do not have any in my box. On a cloudy day I through a midnight blue worm...which is a black with a blue tinge to it. June bug or staight purple/grape is a good true stand by color.
