  5. So when you guys tie jigs directly to braid what do you do when you get hung up? I feel like it is too hard to break and I don't want to cut because I lose so much line.
  6. I have heard good things and bad things. I heave tried their flipping hook one time, and was neither disappointed nor satisfied. From the reports, people claim they are as sharp as they advertise but that sharpness may have come at a sacrifice for strength. Some say they points with bend on impact. Again I only have that one time experience so I cannot say for certain because it did not happen to me.
  7. nice bass, what did you catch her on?
  8. I would be willing to bet that the rods Skeet uses are not the same rods that are sold to the public. Several pros fish rods that are wrapped to look like their signature series rods, but are different. I am not certain, but Skeet is from my home town and I have met him several times and he has spoken at my club meetings, I kind of doubt it. But you never know. But if he does nothing against him, if he uses the rods he advertises, just more power to him
  9. Shimano 200GTB or Abu Garcia 5500C
  10. I only own one of his rods, the froggin/senko rod. But to me it says a lot when a Pro uses his own product religiously and wins tournaments and leads the AOY race. Just shows you don't need 300-400 dollars rods to cash in a check.

  18. I have no experience with the Viento, but I love my Citica. No complaints from me about it at least for its price.
  19. CONGRATS! Another angler added!
  20. You are going to love those two baits!!!
  21. Been too long since I have seen a episode, Glad to hear from you again!
  22. I have never had that happen with a baitcaster, but many times on spinning gear, either cause of line twist it gets caught on the bail or something or just cause I wasn't paying attention and forgot to open the bail LOL
  23. My injury consisted of sledding accident. I fell off and well my foot contacted first and then the rest of my body went over my ankle. I didn't break anything. But I have been running lately, and it is acting up. I started wrapping it but I don't think it was enough. I went with the Futuro one suggested above, but the smaller one. Seems to be working pretty well. I looked at those McDavid Lace up ones, they are like 30 dollars +
