  4. Just thought this would be fun to find out what the meaning behind some of your handles would be. Unless it is obvious like Glenn or Keri's or ILikebass. But if you have some unique name or something you would like to share I think this would be fun. Mine is just my First Initial and last name, not exciting I know, but most of my friends call me B. Lee Name is Brandon btw, and yes like the actor and no my dad is not Bruce Lee. I have heard it all my life. Maybe perhaps get the curiosity out, I know I would like to know the story behind some. Thanks, Brandon
  5. I like both and fish and own both. So it doesn't matter. Get what you like and can fit in your budget. Or get one of each and find out for yourself.

  12. Nice collection there, I need to start getting into fly fishing.
  13. No I never tried to lose any weight! I had a good athletic build and was healthy. I had a tragedy in my life (my daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia in oct. 07) and stress can bring this on after lying dormant in my case for 34 for years. I am now gaining weight back in the form of lean muscle because of the diet I stick to, but it the weight doesn't come fast because of the diet as well, but it is better! LBH thanks and I may get in touch with you but, in my area there are also some pretty good gluten free products. By the way my daughter finished her therapy and as healthy as any other 10 year old. The last two and a half years have been pure hell, but thats all over now and I can concentrate on fishing and not whats going on with my little one. I am calling this THE SUMMER OF CHANGE!!! Well than congrats to your whole family for better things to come . Glad both of you are healthy and recovering. This is the first time I have heard of Celiac, just good thing to know I suppose.

  16. Hey Thanks again to everyone who has chimed in. Two weeks till my next tourny, until I get to practice again!
  17. I shot one of those last memorial day. We were waiting to get into a campground and the jeep behind us offered us beer. He was a prison guard, and after we kinda got to know each other, he goes " you wanna see something awesome?" and pulls that out. It had the false suppressor on it and for about thirty seconds I had to keep from blowing one in my pants because I thought I was holding a silenced MP5, lol. I loved the giant clip that holds 10 22lr rounds, lol. Don't you love California Gun law LOL
  18. Glad you moved over to expanding your knowledge of different reel techniques. First off my rule of thumb is adjust the weight of the lure with the side knob so it will fall smoothly. Secondly with throwing light baits or lighter baits it most commonly has to do with the Rod. If the Rod action is not meant to handle lighter than what you have on there it will not throw it properly. Now with throwing lighter stuff, I use a rod with less action. Kind of a whippy rod, so you can get some load on the rod for casting distance. I am sure people with more knowledge than me will chime in, but that is how i deal with it.
  19. Yeah I want to fix my snake path down the ramp, but that is an excellent point about giving the trailer time to adjust to the movement instead of just going left and right constantly.
  20. Another a Ika user in the bag
  21. Congrats and you can't beat that kind of fishing now can you!
  22. You know when I was a very young kid and had no idea about bass fishing or even baitcasters, I got overzealous and made my dad buy me one of those Penn reel for my first bass reel, I learned quickly that it was a terrible decision. I quickly returned it and bought a South Bend Round Reel, not any better but at least it was the right size LOL
  23. Tricky since you say restock..... I'll let this one go, but I would like pictures so everyone can see
  24. There are rules, please post some pictures.
