I would recommend a HD Flip Video, small, light, and get the job done in HD as well. For a decent price.

  12. Ok, I broke my favorite rod yesterday during my tournament. I closed the livewell door on it... Yes I know very rookie of me. But this rod has been my favorite for over 10 years. Never let me down, and I let her down in this fashion. Now I used the rod for crankbaits and light swimbaits. I know isn't meant for it, but I loved it. I literally knew the action of this rod so well I could throw just about any lure with it, even senkos. I used it as a striper rod as well. So I had a Casting Berkley x-tra IM6 X50-7' MH, Medium Heavy Action. Lure weight 3/8 - 1.5 ounces. Line weight 12-25. It had a soft tip, kind of whippy. And was graphite. Can anyone recommend a similar rod, I would like something that maybe able to handle something a little heavier weight maybe up to 2-3 ounces, but still able to throw 3/8. I know some companies under rates there rods. Any recommendations, I thank you in advance for. All prices ranges. - BLee

The best thing to do for yourself is go to tackle store, bass pro, cabelas, or whatever is near you and just look at bags and see what boxes and how many fit, and then decide what fits your needs best.
