  1. Just kidding I don't need to see pichers of you.
  2. Bunch of whiners.
  3. I have a few ambassedeurs from the 80's still in package.
  4. Thank you for making me spit at my monitor.
  5. I like it and it is normally cheaper than other Flouro and you get double points because it is XPS
  6. Decent my arse! I can't wait till the water warms a little more.
  7. Had to share what I bought they have a rod holder built into the shorts and comes with a bottle opener
  8. Back up from the dead. I just bought on Cabela's, Columbia Angler Champion Board Shorts, Columbia Bora Bora Hat, and on Bass Pro I bought some terminal tackle. I wish I could afford to buy another Shimano Stradic CI4 and Carbonlite Rod. I think that would such a nice combo.
  9. I actually tie everything with a trilene knot, i have for years and I have faith in that knot. I will tie a palomar knot for only drop-shotting rigs. Well because they require you to. Uni to uni with a touch of super glue for braid to mono for me.
  10. You could have just asked in the same thread you started about Reels.
  11. Bass in my neck of the woods hit the big one all the time, no matter the size. I have had 1 pound bluegill strike at it.
  12. Welcome to BR
  13. I am a Brush Hog or Reaction Innovations Sweet beaver kind of guy.
  14. Never, i use its big brother, always
  15. You could have just posted this question in thread about the paint chipping off.
  16. You should stop taking pictures of the same 3 fish you caught multiple times. LOL Just kidding Glad you had such an awesome day out on the water.
  17. I think Perry's record was caught on a "creek chub fintail shiner" - an artifical I believe - floating wood style bait I recall - could be wrong though. Ah I stand correct, of course a native of Alabama would know. It looks like a swimbait, first of its kind LOL "Creek Chub Bait Co. of Garrett, Ind., who manufactured the Fintail Shiner lure"
  18. Im using a Loomis GLX BSCFR894 with a 2010 Revo SX HS, 65# Power Pro and usually a 15-20 # mono/flouro leader Doubles as my Frog Rod also
  19. HS Revo Sx is a great choice it is what I use. I have 65# braid and use a 15-20 # mono or flouro leader. Plus I think in its class the Revo has the strongest drag at something like 24lbs
  20. I have a BPS Extreme Stalker Backpack, which I use for both bank fishing and when I co-angle. Holds everything I need in one thing. It holds 8 3600 series Plano boxes. 1 Plano 3614 - Hold about 25 Jigs 4 Plano 3650 - Cranks, Swimbaits, Senko/Fat Ika, Jerkbaits/Shallow 3 BPS 360 - Finesse Worms/ Brush Hogs, Frogs/Chatterbaits, Topwater There are four side pockets, one hold my lunch, one holds my jig trailers, one holds my bigger swimbaits, one hold my rain suit when I need it, if not it holds my pliers, scale, flashlight, small firstaid kit, megastrike, sunscreen, and bug lotion. The back slot hold a small plano box for terminal tackle. The flap underside hold my Reaction Innovation Sweet Beavers. It also has two beverage holders and a sunglass case attached. I have a Cabela's Binder system which holds my Spinnerbaits and Buzzbaits.

  22. Great catch

Glad you don't smell anymore Welcome to 2010 Fish count
  24. First of all there i no technique proven to catch bigger fish. It seems like George Perry bass and Manabu Kurita bass were both caught off live bait. So with that said you need to throw swimbaits if catching with a lure is important to. Second your body of water needs to be able hold and breed big bass. If it doesn't you won't catch them because they don't exist, and they may not get any bigger than your 9 pounder until you give them more time to grow. Third: Right time right place right bait, as mentioned before. You have the opportunity to catch big bass, but nothing you do will entice big bass only. Last tournament I fished, big fish was caught on a 5 inch Senko. So just goes to show it is about timing and bait selection.
