  1. Welcome to BR!
  2. 12.4 We better get a lure or something
  3. Only encountered them once as a kid growing up on the East Coast, camping came right up to our canoe. Scared the crap out of me. I kind of pushed it another direction with the oar.
  4. K. Thanks I have a rod rated for 1.5 oz max wondering if could use those in mean time while I wait for my rod and reel setup
  5. Checked, thanks for the recommendation again. I have bought a few huddleston deluxes 6 inch, I bought the weedless one and the 12 ROF one. BTW do you know the weight of those baits.
  6. Oh nice! Exactly what I am looking for. I knew I could count on you guys to help me out!
  7. nice hammer, what kind of reel do you have paired up with it. I don't want to spend a lot on a reel either. I have an old Ambassador I am thinking of pairing it with. It is sort of equivalent 5500 c3 model. I figure it will hold enough line, and have a good drag. I don;t throw swimbait enough to go all out on a setup
  8. Just don't show any public displays of affection or anything like that. They arrest people for that over there. Since kissing another person is a crime over there (which a couple recently found out), what penalty do you think that lady kissing the dolphin is going to receive? Uh oh.
  9. Custom Rod would be kind of cool, especially if it can had for my budget.
  10. Wow I was looking at the thread from my Blackberry yesterday those Okuma Rods are really cheap!
  11. Thanks for the suggestion! Do you have any opinion on dobyns second gen rods? I just heard we get a club discount. And he is also coming to speak at one our meetings soon.
  12. Any help here, I don't want to spend a lot on swimbait rod, unless of course I have to, but I would like to keep it between 100-200 dollars. For throwing 2-6 oz baits. Thanks guys! Going to clear lake next month for my club tournament, and from the local reports here and of course after the Elite Series the swimbait bite I hear is going nuts right now.
  13. I just by all 4's, somtimes 6's on my bigger topwater baits.
  14. I love them too and good price
  15. Yeah even the elite series was tough out there. You should try and make back out there end of april into summer. There are big ones out there!
  16. Maybe the owner of Gamma wants a stock of his own line since they are no more.

I've caught them on Green Pumpkin, and Purple, my biggest was on the purple.
  18. Allen Cole Plug in Trout or Black/Purple color. I think they are a little over 10 inches long.

Buy them from Tackle Warehouse. Spend over $50 and shipping is free. They have great prices and a good selection on most of their stuff. Spending $50 there is not a problem. 8-) What a set up! LOL hope he isn't married, might get in trouble
  20. I guess sex doesn't sell when it come to Bass Fishing. It is funny because it works for everything else. I wonder if a trend like fixing up cars could ever apply to Bass Boats with crazy custom colors and decked out decks with TV's and Sound system, and half naked ladies on them. Not that I am saying this is where it should go... But I do totally agree that having a Lady host a show would be a good in many aspects, also more ladies in advertisements will go a long way for youth.
  21. I never understood Big 'Un is that implying a Big One? Or is 'Un referring to Fish? This is a Big One? or a Big Fish?

    I love posting this picture!:
  23. I suppose I use the word "Smashed" lot, like the bass smashed the bait. Or killed it. I never thought about what I actually say until reading this, now I am going to have a complex for the next few hours about this.
  24. Looks like fish on top but other than that I don't see it either Or are you standing behind the truck not letting her leave? What's going on here!
