  1. We still fish!!!! (im 26 )
  2. I appreciate the thought you are trying to get across. But Muskie are a much larger species of fish, so I could see. Second, I think a hook in its mouth and us trying pull it in let alone in water is much more stressful then the 20 seconds it takes me to lip it, look at it, and put it back in the water. Your first link is about Muskie, and at the very end quote, "As I said, I can't speak to bass, but for pike or muskies, it's a pretty clear cut case. Given the high potential for negative effects on the health and survivability of released fish when they're held vertically, there's really no excuse to do it." As with everything studies are studies, even if they are conducted for bass. Someone else in the world is going to refute it. I am neither for it or against it, but if it were such an impact I am sure B.A.S.S and FLW would have initiated such a rule. Your second and third link does not work. Your fourth link mentions using a jaw gripping device, which I see no difference in lipping it. So I don't see where you are going with it. - Blee
  3. Nice should be great weather too, I am so jealous.
  4. Yeah I saw a video of this, the idea is like a Chinese Finger Trap thing.
  5. Glad you had a successful day
  6. I would suggest slow it down a lot and maybe just let a senko sit there and twitch it. Make it ticked off. Seems like they are getting ready to spawn.
  7. Maybe she picked it up and spit it out to get it off her bed. You were in her bed!!!
  8. I have had aftermarket chargers melt on me, but I buy really cheap ones from China.
  9. Isn't epsn360 free? I haven't signed up or paid for anything...
  10. Why did you waste 30 seconds of my life!! I want it back!
  11. I take it you aren't doing too shabby for yourself then even in a down real estate market.
  12. Did you ever go? If so how did you do?
  13. I am from the area, as far as lakes go local to you, You have lake berryessa which is probably closest, within an hour drive. Then the CA Delta, which you should go to. And there is lake oroville and few others northeast of you. And lake sonoma, which is about 1 and half from you. Let me know, if you ever need a co-angler I am always game!

  20. I have no experience with the older SX, but the newer SX are just as a good as an equivalent shimano, Smooth, powerful drag. But I love both brands equally, I have Calcutta TE's and Revo SX's so I can't complain with either.
  21. These are two fish caught within 5 minutes of each other. I threw it at a tree submerged with a little bit sticking out at the top and just let it sit there and shook the tip a little. And as you can see skirt on top and I never gut hook any of them.
  22. I have never had this happen to me personally, but I would agree lead is softer
