  4. Welcome! You will find living next to the Potomac there are plenty of great fishing spots for you here. Oh and welcome to the Snakehead territory BR is a great resource in general.
  5. Most of this is preference. Rod wise I recommend a MH - more sensitive is always better but in all honesty you can do just find using a cheaper rod for spinner baits. For reel a Citica e would be great if your looking baitcasting. Pretty much anything that is a average speed reel would be perfect so you can either slow roll or burn it with a little effort. Personally I prefer braid for line for spinners *30 lb* just because I have grown awfully fond of braid and at the speed you move the lure the fish won't notice what kind of line your using. Pretty much in summary you can use about anything for spinner baits. War eagles are a great spinner bait if your still deciding on that front. They are a useful bait in about any season or condition. In winter slow roll it and in summer you can burn it. If you have not watched this its worth your time http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/spinnerbaits-bass-fishing.html
  6. I have a Revo S and a Citica E - I FAR prefer the Citica. In fact I am currently working on replacing the Revo on the rod its on because I feel like its reel is too heavy I have a ton of trouble pitching jigs *mind you I'm also very new at this technique too*.
  7. I actually held off on the Fuego.... I havent decided where im going as far as rod and app I couldn't resist. I got it, some buzz and spinners. I cant wait to hit the water! *course I have no rod really for the reel yet... details*

  12. Thats not really true when it gets cold. You can catch giants in the fall/winter on grubs and they are alot smaller then the average plastic worm. "!=" means "Does not equal" in programming. He was saying that big baits don't necessarily mean big fish. I'm actually with shimmy. I don't care enough about catching a few dinks to end a crappy day to tie on a 3" senko. At the end of a crappy day, they don't make me feel any better. *grins* I'm glad to see someone else is up in coding terms. Dan - Dinks are all I catch 85% of the time I can't discriminate ;D
  13. Whats your max you want to spend?
  14. bigger bait != bigger fish
  15. I beg to differ sometimes fish dont want to exert energy to chasedown or tackle larger baits but the sight of an easy lunch in the form of a 3" senko might peak their interest Besides - 3 inch senkos are cheap they are two for the price of one!
  16. Welcome! You will enjoy it here.
  17. To my knowledge cranking motors *this is from car knowledge* are not deep cycle and therefor multiple ups and downs will really destroy these batteries ability to reach full charge. That is the main reason I can see to not want to run the cranking motor in parallel.
  18. Welcome! I went to school at High Point NC and have a few friends over that way! You will enjoy this place
