    Using KVD, and it works fine. I haven't tried any others so nothing to compare to.

    I had the platinum P783C rod but sold it with some BPS rods to buy a loomis glx. I love the new loomis but am still kicking myself for selling the Allstar. Older Allstars were and are great rods. Not to hijack a thread but if anyone knows where to get another P783C, please PM me. The 783 with a revo premier made a great finesse and small top water bait rod.

    The line mics a hair larger than stated, but my favorite line by far. Has an extremely high break strength. Getting harder to find though.
