Chatterbait Blades
Question about chatterbait-type blades. Curious if any of you use different size in blades for different conditions? I use both sizes but tend to use the bigger sizes when fishing dirty water. I feel the vibration better with the bigger sizes. I wonder how much does that make a different in attracting bass? I notice commercial applications tend to use the smaller size. Curious what your experience has been? Thanks! Ray

How To Clean Dirty Cork Handles?
I agree with the last two posters. Once you apply the U-40, afterwards all you have to do is use mild detergent to clean. That U-40 is a great investment and a little goes a long ways.

Priceless! I own four of them and wouldn't sell either for any amount of money. Great fishing machine.

Shimano Callisto vs. Daiwa Procaster
I'd go with Roadwarrior on this one. Cheap is not the best option, especially if you're in this for the long haul.

Golf vs Fishing
$300 per week golfing? I would quit too if I paid that much. Bottomline is that I think it is possible to enjoy both. I will admit that I get more excited catching a big bass than getting a birdie. I catch more bass that I score birdie. For me, it took a long time to learn to bass fish and golf. Learning to bass fish was harder than learning to golf. It took a couple of years to learn to bass fish but it only took a year to learn to golf where I don' embarrass myself. I'm going fishing in the morning.

How to fish a Chatter
I fish them like I would a spinnerbait. I use them where I would use a spinnerbait. VALUABLE PIECE OF ADVICE: Sharpen the hooks first!

Tackle bag for bank anglers
I fish small ponds alot and use a backpack also. I find it is easier. One thing all bank anglers need is discipline to not carry everything they own. I use to carry too much stuff around. My bag got heavier and heavier. Now, I carry less than 3lbs of stuff. The idea is to be mobile. Ray
