I'm still catching them on Pumpkinseed Senkos.

The Sahara was the first quality spinning reel I ever purchased. I have the 4000. If money is an issue, the Sahara will work just fine. A better reel is the Stradic. I have the 2500. Best spinning reel I ever owned. Highly recommend this one.

They need to work on the TV program. It could use a new host. I do like most of the programming but the host drives me nuts. I'd like to see one of the bass pros host it.

I tell ya, I'd love to see the women and men team up for a few tournaments. Just think, KVD and the Reel Lady team up! Now that would be interesting! What do you think?

I'm not sure losing Basscenter is such a big lost.

On the fall means on the fall. Not a complicated phrase. The majority of my bass have come from the senko "on the fall". I've also caught some while the base was laying on the bottom. I've come some when I twitch the rod tip. But remember, when you to twitch the rod tip, the baits comes up a few inches most of the time.

How much do replicas cost?

I own both of the rods in the discussion. The Crucial is the top of the line Shimano rod while the GL2 is the bottom of the line G.Loomis rod. Based on these two rods only, I would pick the Crucial over the GL2. Not sure if I would pick it over the GL3 and I know I wouldn't pick it over the IMX or GLX. Bottomline--you made the right choice.

I just think it's only a matter of time before the multi-media whizzes on here start to make videos show people how to do something. I think I'd trust the folks on here more because they don't have a monetary reason to make a statement. It's for the love of bass fishing. So with that, I challenge Low Budget Hookers to do a video on jigs!
